Thanks to Biraj for reminding me of this song again😆...this time I just had to finish the VM :)

Nice VM AY! I am listening to the song for the first time.To be honest not a fan of old songs but i liked the lyrics here and you very well mixed with apt scenes👍🏼

This is a classic song from the movie Guide, and it has really lovely lyrics which I felt suited the depth and meaningful nature of Shivika's relationship.

Haha I guess these days only current songs or remixes work but I really like this one :)

The Trivedi house episode is one of the most poignant episodes of IB. It was so beautifully done and NM and SC were both brilliant in it.

There is just something about the lyrics that makes my heart full whenever I listen to this song. And somehow it's hard to find another pair that overcame many long odds and prevailed like Shivika. Which is why the laakh manaa le duniya, saath na yeh chhutega...aake tere haathon mein, haath na yeh chhutega line moves me so much. Especially when it comes to them.

I loved using the vanvaas walking out scene for that. Good reminder of the fact that NM could ace it and the whole team was acing epis back then.

Word on the Trivedi house scene too. I wanted to capture the emotion of tere dukh Ab mere. And the tere yeh do naina, chaand aur suraj mere line with the warmth of the banter in the cake cutting. I love the affection and pure love in their smiles in that scene :)

@AY: I get exactly what you mean with respect to those lyrics and Shivika's journey and odds they fought to get where they were.
When I watched this and saw all those scenes with those lyrics my heart was so full. Dil bhar aaya.
I miss them so much.

Dil bhar aaya. That is exactly it. Couldn't have put it better myself.

The lyrics juxtaposed with the way they'd look at each other in those scenes each just had this sense of - look how much we overcame, look how we still hold on...and we're never letting go. That feeling is as much theirs for each other as much as it is ours for them.

Making VMs like these just makes me hold on harder to them even in the face of forces that disrespect them. That is the essence of this song.

I don't know why but i am just crying after watching this. Shivika are just perfect, my life time love.
