I hated that movie because almost all other Zoya movies it was just about rich people and their struggles with whom half of the audience can't relate. I mean imagine you are on verge of being bankrupt and you decide to throw a useless cruise party with 1000s of people. The only character with whom I sympathised was Rahul Bose's in the movie. That guy was hated by her wife PC for no reason even though he allowed her to do everything she wanted yet he got dissed by Farhan (absolutely pathetic all round performance by him) for being a misogynist and his outburst on Ranveer was real when he made fun of his mom even in a tense situation.
You sympathized with a man who thought he was progressive cause he 'allowed' his wife to work? With a man who was physically manhandling his wife and commanding her to get up and all that? Really?
And Ranveer wasn't wrong in making fun of Rahul's mom. She was literally threatening suicide because Priyanka wasnt functioning according to her whims and fancies. Emotional blackmail and manipulation. He also saw how badly they treated his sister. That woman had a problem with Priyanka being an ambitious successful self made woman while she wanted a bahu who couldn't even look her in the eye or talk back. Both of them Rahul and his mom were misogynist sexist assholes and good for Anil's character to show them the door.
But it's understandable why you didnt like the movie if your sympathies lie with those characters.
DDD is a gem. I find it so much more real than the pretentious bs that was ZNMD.
