kunal's journey!

i keep on thinking about this character , no matter i have no sympathy for him and no matter i am a mauli fan. 😕

i have loved maunal dearly and there was a time when i could never accept kunal leaving mauli. yes!! it was his "idea of leaving mauli" which was so so so disgusting , more disgusting than his ema..

i was ready to accept his cheating! yes, i actually thought this can be forgiven if he admits that he did a mistake and he didnt love nandini and got carried away..
but i was shocked to see that kunal wanted to leave mauli and was telling nandini that he couldn't lie more.. i was like look at this man, look at his tantrums.. as if he is bearing mauli for mauli's sake..
kunal was creepier than nandini. yes!! there are my posts in this very forum where i said "these days whenever i see kunal it just creeps me out , no matter what is the nature of that scene"

then again i thought perhaps he would realise a little late.. but naah!! the phase was NEVER ENDING PHASE.. not even once he was confused about his feelings for nandini.. he claimed to love her only.. and in this process he wronged mauli to some another level.
that phase was so so so ugly that it still haunts me. i have no guts to re watch it. but it doesnt mean i can eliminate it from my memory. if i have to watch this story then i should have the guts to re watch it or say i should have the guts to NOT FORGET IT DELIBERALETY bcz it was the part of this story.

when he accused mauli and was finding ways to run back to nandini , i knew that this man had got really selfish.. and his love for mauli was over. bcz when u r in love with someone u can not hurt the other person to this extent.. i am not only talking about romantic love but also talking about all kinds of love he had for mauli.
the only positive emotion he had for her was SYMPATHY! not even empathy!!
amd trust me, this feeling is so disgusting that your lover/husband is sympathizing with u bcz he had stopped loving u and can not love u anymore..
this SYMPATHY in itself a kind of INSULT!

as time passed i had to accept that he loved nandini bcz he moved out of his house , left his family and left his happy married life for his love.
no mature, intelligent , grown up and good person can do this to his own family unless he actually believes that what he is doing is right.. KUNAL BELIEVED IN HIS LOVE. he married nandini and had a daughter with her. and i accepted that he loves nandini.!!


now he back in mauli's life and he is suggesting ishaan some weird ways to impress mauli bcz he thinks that mauli can fall for ishaan bcz of those gifts and gestures.. i hope he doesnt think that MAULI HAS ZERO feelings for ishaan and she is falling for ishaan bcz of these things. bcz mauli isnt such girl..
if she has something for ishaan then only she can fall for him ever more bcz of these gestures.. i am calling these ways weird to impress mauli bcz ishaan's endless wait for mauli, his never ending hopes and love for mauli-mishti , his selflessness was much much more than enough for her to fall for him. so its certainly not lack of efforts or emotions from ishaan's side to make her fall in love but mauli herself is stuck in her past and is unable to move on.
also, kunal is making mauli hate him.. i can't tell u guys how outdated, cliched idea is this..
and kunal as a character has to bear the brunt of this.. i don't know if these two ideas
1) raise ishaan (even more)
2) make himself fall (even more)
in mauli's eyes are intensionally done by makers in an immature way so that mauli can tell him later 1) that it were not those gifts she fell for but she had already fallen for ishaan and didn't realise it and 2) she doesnt need to hate kunal for loving ishaan or moving on in life.. she stuck on him bcz she could never believe that he actually had stopped loving her.. she could never got answers to her questions. she was always scared to fall in love again as she didnt know where she failed? how did her marriage with end? how did it happened?? how?? kab hua kaise hua? aur kyu? why?? she wanted a closure from him she didnt need to hate him to move on. she needs to know some answers. it was just that.

this will save mauli for sure. but what about kunal then?? will it make kunal a joker??
nope!! i guess if all this happens and kunal takes this positively then he may tell her the reasons he left her.
cheating on her was a crime/sin but he could at least tell her that his feelings for nandini were genuine and tell her the base of his feelings for nandini..
his emotions for nandini!.
mauli thought and even mocked him that he fell for nandini's submissive nature and her beauty, sajna sawarna.. he could at least tell her what were the things he fell for..
i always wondered if his love for nandini wasnt attraction which i have to believe is not bcz he married her and has a daughter with nandini , still adored her (post leap)and missed her then what were the base of his feelings for nandini?? what were his feelings??

his sympathy for nandini ?, her naive nature?, innocence, the day he saw her dancing freely in the rain as if for the first time she felt that freedom/independence which every human being has a right of and he was overwhelmed with emotions and attracted to her.. and slowly he started feeling for her pain and happiness and made her his own..

some explanation by kunal for his feelings can actually give mauli's heavy heart a bit relief.. and for the first time viewers will be able to understand him..

kunal definitely needs some good dialogues in his favour , some emotions for nandini and his love to justify his love (not ema) , to justify his decision of leaving mauli (not the way he left her).

i guess makers can redeem kunal if they let him talk about his feelings for nandini which were never heard and felt.. i hope mauli gets answer to her how? why? when? and this way mauli will be able to move on and kunal will also gets his redemption by apologizing to her for leaving her and cheating on her..

About his redemption he has to admit to mauli that he became cruel for mauli in his obsession with nandini.He has to admit that his relationship with nandini even if he thinks it as true love was wrong.H has to ask mauli for forgiveness.He has to admit mauli did everything in their marriage and it was him to destroyed it.Then only it will be a redemption for me.Not thus silly hate me track by turning love guru.

.If he cared for mauli or knew mauli well as he claims now he would never have thought that mauli could lie about pregnancy to get him.He would have never called her giri hui.Now he says nobody can know mauli better than him.
