What is the trademark of moh. Test. If a person do this for me he loves me. If a person doesnt do it then he doesnt love me. Really. Is love the one that satisfies all your rational and irrational wants. Or love makes you a better person, making you understanding the realities of life. Answer is love is later. First is moh. Radha tested Krishna. Him going there meant prem to her. What if tomorrow Krishna refuses to do something for her. Will she still love him, will she understand him or will she say he doesnt love me. That's why Krishna was telling it is difficult to talk about moh and prem. Because line is thin. It can be only shown and as days goes by we will see how prem differes from moh and how Radha will be liberated from moh.

Shruti , I think here Moh means selfishness, to own it , a sort of possessiveness! And love means eternal Love , will be there throughout , seeing that situations are temporary and don't necessarily define the fate of the relationship. In real relationships,in solid relationships, both partners find a way to associate with each other, to be with each other ,though not necessarily physically but that sense of belonging will be there in both their hearts and minds. As you rightly mentioned, the defining line is very thin, but yes there is a slight difference.

But one thing is confusing me since this Moh topic raised by Krishna here -- why Moh is treated as a sin here ?? That too between the eternal lovers Radha and Krishna ? What is wrong if Radha started her love with possessiveness? as a first step of her love --as far as he is there in front of her , near her she wishes Him only for her ? Later anyway her love will transform in to a spiritual one , because of their separation !

viswashruti moh binds you, and makes you do selfish things. Look at jatila, her moh for her son is making her do all the evil things. Making collateral damage

Wow, it's so beautifully put by both of you! :D

In the show, when Radha made the butter for Krishna, it was prem but her wanting to ensure Krishna had it was moh.

Also, when she did not share the kheer...when you're truly in love, you want to share that with everyone.

If in love, Radha would've wanted her parents and literally everyone in the vicinity to know how good a cook Krishna was! :D

I think it's freedom of love or caging it. I don't believe in love at first site I believe in attraction at first sight becoming love. This corralates to that, if you are attracted to someone it's usually only through one aspect and if that is not fulfilled anger and fear of losing them replaces it. Getting to love the entirety of the person is love even their flaws. This allows you to let that person go without fear or anger just love. Great parents are example of that, they allow their children to spread their wings even if it is something they don't like or do not approve. Bad parents cage their children to follow their template, not alllowing for freedom.
