So I'm a huge fan of suspense, mystery and crime. Andhadun being a huge success at BO and given the reviews, I was anticipating to watch it like badly. And yesterday it premiered on TV and finally I was so excited to watch it and I did. But...but...I didn't actually get the end of the movie. Everyone was saying like the climax of the movie is unexpected and unpredictable but I don't know, Can anyone explain it to me please?
The end sort of gave me that Aankhein movie ka end kind of vibe.

He got his eyes back? They showed him blind even at the end of the movie, right? That can swat meant to show that he can actually see and is yet again pretending to be blind? 😲

When Tabu blinded him he only lost his vision partially.

That one-eyed Rabbit and Ash's poster behind the auto closing one eye, they kind of drop hints he was only partially blind.

The end could mean two things:

1) He was partially blind so he could see the rabbit which saved him. Hence, his stick is an ode to the rabbit.

2) He made up the whole rabbit story (inspired from his stick and his own partial blindness) and had indeed sold Tabu's organs and got his vision back completely and is still acting blind.

So I completely failed to notice that Ash's pasted behind the auto, and that makes sense now. I was kinda confused at the end as I was already expecting him to see and when he hit that soft drink can, I was like I knew it but I was actually expecting something different, something more, I don't know. The ending kind of reminded me of AB's last scene from Aankhein though.

PS I would like to believe your second theory though. 😃

PPS so I had to come here and edit my comment to add that I keep on forgetting that you have changed your UN and I didn't realize it was you Du.😆

The Ash poster doesn't mean he was partially blind. The auto driver was known to him. He had already ridden in the same auto when he was not blind pre interval during the whole lottery ticket thing and him going to the police station.

It was an open ending, left to viewers' interpretations with some glaring hints.

The half-blind rabbit (that's why a close-up was shown) was a metaphor for Ayushmann's character and that implies that Ayushmann could see with his one eye. This is just one theory because a rabbit was carved on that stick used in the final scene.

In the last scene when he kicked a can out of his way with that stick then immediately one can realise that he could see. But he pretended to be full-blind because he wanted to come out of the mess by fighting Tabu & her BF and even staged the '1cr drama' with that trio(autowala, lady, doctor).

The most interesting question is suppose if he wasn't blind at all when did he get his vision back.

But if he's partially blind that doesn't explain the part where Ayushmann was standing by the roadside and getting almost bludgeoned to death by Tabu's car in the pre-climax.

Perhaps, Tanu didn't die in the accident, took him to London, helped him get a cornea transplant . Or maybe, he agreed to the doctor's deal and took her cornea and his vision returned. In that case, maybe, he cooked up the flashback and lied to Radhika.

Anyhow the open ending with multiple theories makes it more intriguing and I don't mind a sequel from the filmmaker that provides the answers 😛.
