Ajay-Atul sucks

I think they are good for only romantic/melodic songs. Don't know about their Marathi music but in Hindi Agneepath is still their best work. Kareena's item number from Brothers - Mera Naam Mary was disappointing too and now TOH and ZERO. Mere Naam Tu is good.

I think people are expecting them to deliver everytime.. That's why many of us are disappointed with these mediocre tracks.. But just don't write them off.. They are Legendary composers here in Marathi.. They will surely comeback and I am sure they will surprise us.. they are talented and the important part is they are original.. And I think TOH was not that great but still not that bad... Suraiyya was ruined by bad choreography and lame lyrics.. vashmalle and the other item number was okayish and mere naam tu is like any other decent Bollywood love song... Just the hype and expectations are not matching to their standards.

Rumor is that they got replaced for Shamshera and Mithoon is doing it now.

They are extremely talented. Songs like Apsara Ali and their national award winning songs from Jogwa are absolutely stunning. But they have a type. They are unable to go beyond that. Within that type they do really well. Outside they are not so comfortable I guess. I mean romantic songs and item songs both have had immense impact but I think it works within their comfort area alone.
But they don't suck!!! Listen to the songs I mentioned.

Leave Ajay-Atul, can someone tell me one good album apart from Sonu Ke Titu ki whatever this year? 😆
