Putting aside the Iliyaraj hangover,they have made magical music in Marathi.

But they are a hit hr miss in Hindi.

Lack catchy songs.

They're good at slow romantic numbers and folk but missing the catchy beat where Pritam scores.

No. They most definitely aren't. Their compositions are soul stirring. Yes, sometime their songs do feel like a mish mash of their earlier compositions but they are still fun when they hit the right chords. For example, Bring it on from Jaundya na Balasaheb sounds like the ending of khel mandala, the dance bit and Zingaat but still it is an enjoyable song. 😆

Also, yes they are clearly inspired by Ilaiyaraja but they never copied. Yes, they seem to be struggling with these big budget bollywood movies though. They are best at getting the Mahrashtrian beats, in Marathi their songs sound so rooted.

Their songs are good. But the songs have similar vibe.

My favourite track of this year is Dhadak title song. It gives me goosebumps whenever i hear this song. Such a beautful soulful song with amazing lyrics. Hats off to their hardwork and dedication.

They are good for certain types. But I really like works of

Pritam, Amit Trivedi, Vishal-Sekhar, Shankar Mahadevan and Amaal Malik.

I don't even have 1% knowledge about music. .. How do you guys separate ths music from the lyrics ... Bec sometimes i feel that ths lyrics are absolutely shit .. And thats whats ruining the song... But like i said, I'm completely clueless here ..

so far none of the songs released for Zero have been all that great, I hope the all star bollywood song is up to expectations. Sridevi, Madz, Katrina and Deepika together onscreen is literally a once in a lifetime event.
