Was it Ranveer who MENDED Deepika and Katrina's Relation? Read on...

As known to all, Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif have had a sour past. Reason? Ranbir Kapoor! There have been stories in the tinsel town that reveal, the reason Ranbir dumped Deepika was because of Ms. Kaif and the latter never forgave anyone of them.

Also, during her appearance on Neha Dhupia's chat show BFFs with Vogue, when DP was asked whether she would invite Katrina Kaif to her wedding, the actress had said 'No'.

But, looks like, Deepika has now let go of her past and has embraced the new beginning of her life with open arms. That's why the news about her and Ranveer inviting Katrina to her wedding reception spread like a wildfire. It was a clear sign that she has buried the hatchet with Ms. Kaif, who too in turn graciously accepted the invitation and became a part of their big day.

Not only did Kat attend DeepVeer's Mumbai reception but also set the dance floor on fire and partied the whole night with them.

However, if a few reports are to be believed, it wasn't Deepika who invited Kat, it was Ranveer who sent her the invite.

Also, Katrina's fans spoke on social media about Katrina and Deepika hugging and clicking pictures together.

So, during her interaction with PinkVilla, Katrina was asked about meeting Deepika at her reception and taking pics together but the actress said "Unfortunately, there wasn't any pic taken. Though I would have loved to have one, but I think more important is the fact that we all had a good time."

Despite Kat attending the reception, there were still cold vibes between the duo, but Ranveer made sure to break the ice and made them hug each other and dance together.

Katrina laughed it off and shared, "There are some moments which are too special and private to talk about and not meant for a public platform. What's important was that it was a really warm and fun evening and we all had a good time. There was a lot of love and we all danced and ate and had great fun! I was there till the wee hours of the morning."

When Kat was further asked about Deepika's comment on BFF show, she said, "I was invited to the reception by them for sure and the instinct in my heart was to go, I felt I would like to go. There was no other thought behind it and we had very nice, warm, happy night."

It's so good to see a new friendship blooming in B-town and now, both the actresses have even started following each other on Instagram!
