I've always maintained that's Abhishek was a better actor than Hrithik but Hrithik had better screen presence and look.
Debuting the same year as Hrithik went against him as did the expectations of being Big B's son.

I do think he's way better looking than some of the star sons today, like Arjun kapoor and acts better too.

Decent actor, wasn't mainstream 'Hero' material. Was stuffed down people's throat as one even after multiple rejections. At his best as second lead.

He was one of the worst esp comparing to how badass Maddy did it in the tamil version. AB Jr is good in comedy that i agree with. Serious stuff, he aint cut for it

Abhishek can never pull off a Koi Mil Gaya, Akbar, Krrish, Kaabil, Agneepath nor the Cool Thief acts. And he has tried the Super Hero genre with Drona, played Prince in Umrao Jaan. But, see how he acts. He is too lethargic to even change his body language to suit the role. Even the walk was the same in Umrao Jaan like any of his other modern day films. He does not want to hit the gym when even SRK got into shape. to suit the Action films. And in films like Raavan, Manmarziyaan n others, all he did was stare expressionless. Compare his acting to Vikram in Tamil version of Raavan to see the difference.

Yes, he is good at Comedy as seen in Dostana and Bunty Bubli. But, the only film where I felt he really showed some effort to live the character was Guru. He is definitely more Talented than Arjun Kapoor or Sidharth Malhotra though. But, needs to put in more effort. He is way too casual.

I liked him in bb and dostana, but he can be a little stiff in some scenes. But I like how he doesn't overact. His acting is very casual and hollywoodlike.

Exactly. He is a good actor but is not great when compared to Amitabh. People excepted a lot from him. I am so worried for SRK's sons if they ever decided to become an actor, if they aren't as good as SRK they will go through the same.

Agreed. I love Bunty Aur Babli. And he was one of the few redeeming things in Happy New Year. Farah's comedy sucks yet he did well.

Whenever people want to defend that lazy SOB, they only have one excuse. Couldn't live up to his father's Hype. 😆 what a joke.

Dharmendra is as big of an icon as AB. Sunny Deol had no such problem. He came, he saw, he conquered. Became a superstar himself. Rishi Kapoor did fairly well too, being Raj Kapoors son. Guess all the pressure was on Abhi JR. Lame excuse.

The truth is, he got served everything on a platter but the 45 year old man child would rather sit on the couch and play/watch FIFA all day and tweet his lame Gyaan. He couldn't even be motivated to hit the gym when going up against guys like Hrithik & John. I actually feel sorry for Aishwariya Rai. It's not easy living with a lazy, ambitionless man child .
