I might hate contestants or sometimes even whole seasons on BB but family week is always my favorite. Family makes everyone look good (as long as you're not trying to find negativity) and contrary to popular belief, I think it's when everyone (okay maybe a few exception that I won't name to avoid conflict) looks their realest self because family is who they are vulnerable among.
Sree's children, especially his daughter is so, so, so, so adorable. The way she said "I missed you" and "Dipika Bua" those were so cute. And she was genuinely so happy to see her dad and aww it just made me feel all warm and fuzzy. Little kids are such pure souls and you just know that they mean and feel all they do. Bhuvi, as a wife as much as it is her right to criticize Surbhi, it didn't need to be done right then and there and not to that extent. But still, you can see such genuine affection for her husband and I think at the end of the day, that's what matters.
Deepak's dad is a simple man. He was very straightforward and I loved the whole "byah nahi ho sakti" to Somi. It was funny and like children, old people too are such pure souls. Their emotion are pure and genuine.
Awww Rohit's mom and asking everyone to take care of her son. She's such a mother and that's what I loved. Cool dude Rohit became such a softie in front of her which basically just reiterates my point that, family week is best to see contestants real sides.
Y'all, I liked Surbhi for the first time. She's super crass but I think her heart is kinda in the right place. Honestly I see comparisons to Jagga or Omji and I don't think so. I think she's more Armaan (S7) violent, angry, says too much but isn't a terrible person. I liked that she ultimately apologized for what she did like she had a mini realization. Her brother seems like a good person and I liked their bond.
Romil's wife was cute with the whole "behen hai nah, behen hai na" thing. She seems very simple and "wifey". I don't agree with the entire "ladka ladki dost nahi ban sakte." though. The portrayal has been off on tv I'm assuming because they (Somi and Romil) were both adamant that they only acted friendly. And awww OJ's so cute like children just bring a whole new breath of fresh air to this show.
Saba I think was probably my least favorite visit. Idk, call it previous grudges or whatnot but I just didn't enjoy it that much. But haan, their bond as sisters is adorable. It's great to see. I think it's just entire Romil-Somi friends or lovers discussion that brings a bitter taste.
Now my two favorite contestants.
I love Bella so much. Vienna's cute too but I think she's a little shier. But awww Bella like that child is so adorable. The way she hugged KV and the I love you at the end and not wanting to let him go. Like it was all just so beautiful. And I could hear them crying once out the gate and it broke my heart so I can only just imagine how KV must have felt. Also Teejay, I will start a petition to get on BB. That is a strong and dignified woman who knows her priorities. And her and KV are just love. Maybe I'm reading too much into, but there's a part of me that feels she wants KV to leave Surbhi and Rohit and either play or stay closer to Dipika and Sree who I feel she likes. But she was so positive and damn I think KV's family was my favorite. They're just so united and a team and I loved them.
I have been following Shoaika since NB and I was so excited for them. They're generally just a very mushy couple and I love mush and sweetness and all that and I really don't care if you judge me, I love love. I like Dipika talking to Surbhi about him and I think that really just is the essence of their story. He brought her back to life and taught her how to smile and it doesn't get better than that. I like the poetry and I love how he ran to her. And the way everyone was adoring them because they just emit love. He also talked to all the contestant with such politeness and honestly, maybe this is bias, but Shoaib was the only person who had a good reason to go off on a contestant (the saiyaan-bhaiyaan thing) but he chose to be positive. Dipika's smile when he talked about dancing in the morning, or call Sree saley sahab or the date with Somi, really says it all. He really did bring back her smile. I'm excited for tomorrow because sure, it might too be mush and romantic but I will eat it up because they seem so genuinely in love.
Family week didn't disappoint and I think what the contestants showed these two days, is who they are albeit maybe a little more dramatize version but at the end of the day, family makes you and the way you behave around family reflects who you are.
