They didn't change a thing
Let it air this week
The thug does drama first to sell the painting he keeps increasing and later he does drama and guddan gets emotional and gives her manglasutra to this guy
Later aj goes out and then finds police find this guy

I have a doubt Mangalsuthr scene where AJ dadi and guddu are there. ..AJ is scolding Guddu rejects to tie mangalsuthr and guddu is emotional ...is this scene is before the scene you described...
