Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma first worked together in Ali Abbas Zafar's Sultan in 2016. The audience loved their performance and chemistry in the film. Salman and Anushka played the role of wrestlers in the film which went on to become one of the biggest blockbusters of 2016. It's during the shoot of Sultan, the two actors became very good friends.

Earlier this year, Salman Khan confirmed that he will be reunited with his Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam director Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Well, there's a good news for Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma fans. There are chances that the duo might work together again for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's next project. As reported by DNA, the Pari actress hasn't signed any film and is considering SLB's next. The reports also mentioned that it was Salman Khan who mentioned Anuska's name to play the female lead.

While we have seen Anushka is different types of roles so far, considering the aesthetic and grandeur of Bhansali's films, it would be interesting to see her in a different avatar.

Currently, Anushka Sharma is busy with the promotions of her upcoming film Zero. Directed by Aanand L Rai, the film also stars Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles. Zero will hit the screens on December 21, 2018.

On the other hand, Salman Khan is busy with the shooting of Ali Abbas Zafar's Bharat in which he stars alongside Katrina Kaif. Bharat is slated to release on Eid next year.
