She spoke of the show wrapping in 7 mnths. Isnt it 8.5 mns and

for the cast they started shooting in Nov ??

She was asked if both of them took a joint decision. She says she

can only speak for herself. For her the show was the television audience and it is a short story, if it was dragged on OTT platform it may eventually end up ruining it. So she took up the decision of not continuing on the digital platform

Something which i did not like

Beyhadh was bigger success than Bepannaah how important it is to maintain your winning streak ?

She said a project's fate is not in her hands, she was the anti heroine in Beyhadh, didnt know that it would be so successful. Failures are in important in life too. So for a person like me who is readinf the paper, Beyhadh is a success and Bepannaah is a failure ??

She might pick up a project that can do well ?? NOW she is seeing commercial feasiability of a show.

Harshad or her co stars have no mention here.

Didnt BP always have better TRP than Beyhadd? Better TRP + the online buzz and international viewers. Not sure how it is a failure compared to Beyhadh. Pictures related to the show often broke the internet.

I guess she was only talking about her individual characters. Maya was a bigger hit than Zoya as the show was literally all about her. For BP, it were Aditya and Zoya both who made the show so popular. The comparison is literally between apples and oranges as the channels they aired these shows on were also completely different. Sony was satisfied with the buzz Maya created digitally, whereas Colors never was satisfied despite the buzz being more for BP.

Exactly when did Beyhadh have better trp than Bepannaah. What was its opening trp vs 2.7

Bp was shifted continiously from 9 to 10.30 pm , for a s how which wasn't even 9 mnths old

Maya as a character was well writtten, the others were oblivious. Here every character had something to contribute.

Yea she did tell there is no comparision but is she talking about failures in that case Beyhadh also did not do well on the trp chart but Sony adhered to fans. If this show was on colors , they wouls have changed the entire concept foe trp audience.

It is obvious that Voot option was always there but the rejection came from the actors side, if Aniruddh, Jen and Harshad say no what is remaining. I notice a sense of regret from her side as if all this has damaged her career prospects.

We got better TRPS both TV Nd online . It just dint get a chance to complete it's due course .

I don't know why reporter said that . Maybe because for Jenny Maya got more appreciation in comparison to Zoya . It was on air for a longer time too .

She did not say that BP was a failure , they were not able to give a proper closure , it was abrupt . She had mentioned in live session Nd during Indore promotions too that BP was a success . They failed to handle the story towards the end .

She will sign new projects which will have get a chance to convey it's story , so that veiwers can be satisfied .

Not so sure about her being regretful about BP in terms of her career, as she very clearly stated that was proud of the show in one of the videos Colors released on the last day of the show. Print interviews can be a little confusing, especially when they are not elaborate and to the point - the way this one is.

Beyhadh as a show was a success because Sony decided to see it as a success. Maya as a character was different and very rare and it established Jen as one of the best in the industry. Not every character can be like that and it is unfair to tout Zoya against Maya.

Every channel has a trp which determinesvduccess of a show

For Sony reg daily soaps getting 0.9 continuously in trp is a big hit and so beyhadh is hit in terms of revenue for them

For colors getting trp above 2.0 is a hit ..and so for them revenue wise they could have not got what they expected

I think jenny is talking in those terms and saying success is not in her hands and her next show might work well ..i.e she is just hoping ..she is not regretting to do bwpanah. .

Going to voot I think her decision is right ..if from start it's a web series then it's different

But now continuing on voot is not an option ..me too feel like that ..better to end it ..we got saved from Milly crap ...

She saying she can't talk on harshad behalf is right ..he has to say about that right ..

She could have said we jointly decided ..but we don't know what happened whether they jointly decided or not ..so we can't comment on that

I don't want to jump to conclusion or anything but this interview made me very sad because of some of the parts.

The interview gave very negative connotations and implied that bepannah was not successful. Yes it did not finish it's run of 300 eps but it was far from failure. It gave the channel an international recognition and now we hear its being dubbed and released in Thailand. It also gave ita nom to the only show on their channel. I fail to understand y media portals can't call out the channel and give the big picture about what actually happened with the show and it's makers. Instead of just touting it as a failure!

In the first line itself Jen has said that it's unfair to compare both the shows... And regarding the success meant i think that behadh did not end abruptly it had more episode than BP...BP ended in 8 months n behadh ran for a year.. since we don't know the context of the question n answer too ppl should stop jumping on the gun
