2.0 beats Thugs to be the second highest all time all format opening.

2.0 has collected around 64 crore nett which will give GROSS box office of around 80 crore. It is the biggest total ever after Bahubali - The Conclusion which is a phenomenal 150 crore plus.


It now means that the top two openers across India are both films from the South and three of the top five are from South with 2.0, Bahubali - The Conclusion and Kabali in the top five and the other two being Thugs Of Hindostan and Prem RatanDhan Payo both Hindi releases. Rajnikant is the only star to have two in the top five.2018 has seen four entries with 2.0, Thugsof Hindostan, Sarkar (Tamil Film), and Sanju.
