[QUOTE=sme123]Here is what I think they did...
They counted the votes for whoever was on #1, #2 and #3 and then assigned the votes to the winner .they had already picked.
Anamika #1
Rohanpreet #2
Tanmay #3
So - whoever was #1 and got 40+ Lakh votes.. the name announced was Anamika...and so on and so forth..
I don't have any problems with the results - I think if go on pure singing talent - the results are good.. The only issue I have is these reality shows are money making machine and people - send SMS messages like crazy... emptying their pockets to fill up the bags of Zee TV and the mobile networking company..
Do you think anyone will vote - if they advertise like ..
To vote for Anamika send Rs. 6(min cost of each message) to <ZeeTV>
To vote for Rohanpreet send Rs. 6 to <ZeeTV>
To vote for Tanmay send Rs. 6 to <ZeeTV>
Or Better still, I wonder if they would do something like..
If you wish to vote for Anamika send Rs. 6 for every vote to "Make a wish foundation"
If you wish to vote for Rohanpreet send Rs 6 for every vote to "Unicef" etc...
I really wish that public will wake up and realize its nothing but a money making techniques and they take advantage for people....
😆You have made some interesting observations. This is a big buisness. Any thing is possible. Zee made sure they got the maximum votes and also rewarded East zone and North zone with #1 and #2 spots. Also made sure the final standing looks good merit wise too. I think people don't mind spending money as long as their contestant wins. These buisnesses know the psychology of the regions very well and know how to create mass frenzy. Only way people can get pissed if their contestant don't win for long time, than they may not vote that hard.
