Parents , give birth, nurture a child, then what if this same kid for some reason defy all odds, do not allow them to live, encroach on family izzat. Bas that is it. Cut off all ties.
This is Bepannaah's relationship with colors. This channel has very odd ties with its serials. Aftet 10 years of being in business, colors have shown their true colors
Their programme schedules always used to change
bcos of big boss, ipl or sometimes launch dates were delayed. In the intial years when BB used to air at 9, some prime time soaps were thrown in the 10.30 late night slots. During cricket matches or MS, many post 9 were delayed by 15 mins
I think Kasam was subject to all this. Then sometimes sitcoms are just dumped, Swabhiman was one such case.
Coming to Bepannaah, this one was promoted like never before, fair enough, romance + thriller and extremely good looking leads. Bp was kept 12 inches above the rest. Then it's story became riches to rags. Trps, budget, changes in the script etc etc, okay , almost all soaps have to go through this. Howevet no soaps aftet 3 mnths of inception pass through a variety of time slots. Kasam or the ones before them had time to settle. But Bepannaah and Silsila had to bear the brunt. Then when BB came into pic, all 3 ( including Roop) were thrown between the devil and the deep sea
Two of them saved their shows but BP had to bear the brunt
Reasons od not shifting to Voot bcos leads did not agree, terms and conditions not favouring Ph, trps , all rumours floating in mid air. NAAA
there is much more just like the child who killed in the name of honour killing.
Bp has a similar fate, the begining was beautiful but its end was sealed by the channel. Colors has literally strangled its own child which was of no use them
