True...Ab toh Samaina hug hona hi chahiye!

And Naina should have reacted. At least told him off asking him how dare he do such a thing and he smirking at her.

This is more like a #metoo incident.

But it looks like Naina has taken it too casually which is odd since she makes such a big deal everytime Sameer does anything.

CVs should have made her react properly.

At least her reaction after the curtain falls should have been shown. She could have slapped Karthik or blasted him. If she could slap sameer during school days for trying to kiss her hand, then now in final year of college and being in a relationship for 4 years she should have slapped this guy for his misbehaviour. How could he hug her in front of so many people and insult her, her family and Sameer?

I couldn't understand CVs thoughts here.

Correct but notice the scenes after that too... She seems very casual and not at all affected by what happened. Another guy has hugged her that too infront of her boyfriend and family,yet she seems quite unaffected by it.
