The fondness was underestimated only in this forum. Outside BWF, public fondness for her was always there and became even more after Sridevi's demise. I myself started taking an interest in her activities on social media only after Sridevi's death and had no clue what she was upto when Sridevi was alive and I'm sure there are many people like me. A film like Dhadak having such contrasting reviews and WOM wouldn't have done the business it did if the public weren't fond of her. Add to that, her interviews and interactions with the media and paps. You'll hardly find many negative comments in any interview of hers online. She did not even receive that much flak on nepotism. I'm pretty sure there are many times when I myself have sounded protective about her in the forum.Same with many people on social media. While the rape threats and trolling are disgusting but much ofthee criticism on Anshula and Arjun is coming from that same protective space. Things would have definitely been different if Sridevi was alive but ab jo hai so hai.

The fondness and love is very much there and its not going to disappear soon so hope Janhvi does not utilize it in the wrong way and instead use it to hone her craft and become a good actor like her mom.And also leave Kjo camp soon.
