I don't think Kunal will ever love Mishti as much as he loves Pari. Pari will always remain more special to papa. And that is exactly why Mauli didn't want Kunal to find out that Mishti is His daughter because she knows Mishti will always be made to feel inferior to Pari by Kunal which is exactly what Mauli had to feel by Kunal after Nandini came to their lives. Mauli herself explained that Kunal will confuse Mishti and she won't let her daughter to go through that same pain inflicted by the same person.
Of course Kunal will be more fond towards Mishti than now he is , after he finds out the truth but even now he'll probably be relieved if he gets assurance that Mauli beget Mishti from Ishaan or someone else. He's even now completely ready to believe that. Please note everyone how he only reminisced only those memories where he doubted Mauli or got "proofs" against her lie. Because that's where his chord is stuck. This is what he wants to believe. That's why he's still unsure of the truth glaringly obvious staring at his face.
This is the bitter truth tea.
I agree with Mauli that only Ishaan can be capable of giving Mishti the kind of fulfilling nourishing love every daughter deserves and needs from her father. Even after Kunal finds out still Ishaan will remain Mishti's best chance at a normal father daughter relationship .

I agree partially. But this is oversimplification of father daughter relationship. Parent-child relationship is just like every other human relationship , nothing different or more special. It can a great one , a good one , a blah or a negative destructive one.
My best friend in Medical college , she was the first child of their parents and her father was so upset that it's a daughter ( he wanted a son . ) that he saw her face for the first time 2 days after her birth. Her dad is a renowned scholar and a highly reputed professor with books on his name.
Even later her dad truly accepted her only after she proved to be very good in studies and also because her mom put her foot down on having another child , so her dad understood this is the only child he's going to have so he better make peace with it.

My colleague , a muslim girl , has 5 siblings. Their parents kept trying for a son till they succeeded at their 6th attempt. The eldest girl was married away at the age of 20 . Summarily disposed off. Then her next two sisters as well.

Many celebrities , be in hollywood or bollywood , or normal ordinary people , fathers forget or grossly ignore the children from previous marriage as they remarry after divorce and get children with the new wife. Personally know many such cases.

Shilpa Shetty's husband is obsessed with his son from Shilpa , whereas he completey defies the existence of his first born daughter from previous marriage.

Anthony Hopkins had cut off ties with his only child, his daughter since many many years back and said even in a recent iv , he's no connection nothing with her.

Of course there is also RDJ , who's extremely fond of his first born Indio though he got him from his previous bad marriage.

Fathers come in all kinds and natures and types. That is my point here.

Kunal coming into mishti s life will hurt her more she has to know the truth that her father was not fond of her birth and why he left mama pari being insecure can be rude as well I am thinking of a dialogue pari can say my buddy is my buddy he never wanted you and left your mom she is though kid but capable of saying big talks Kunal here just want to prove himself right that mauli lies to him that is why he is running no love and he will never repent for him all in the world are useless only true is divine love

even in YHM...raman was not getting the custody of ruhi...ruhi has been staying with raman since birth...but after he married ishita...he got the custody of his daughter ruhi...its the same applies for Mauhaan...they need to get married asap to get mishti custody

but i don't think there will be custody case...i just hope ishaan don't trigger it at all...i hate court cases track...its boring

well by YHM logic, Kunal would not get custody because he is unmarried too 😆

Sorry to butt in, but I think you are forgetting that female feoticide and honour killing prevalence is so high in India. Not all fathers feel the same for their daughters.
