It felt organic and I am glad that they did not do the awkward convo that I had expected and is a norm is such situations. The way Bella was simply sleeping besides Mahir initially was like, huh this is normal. We do it daily.
And the Mahir flirting with her and saying that he is handsome but not so much that she can't look away was simply too adorable. There was one instant where I felt Bella actually wanted to sleep besides him but then he asked her is she was going to be sofa and so she replied that yes. I feel he might have seen her hesitate at the foot of the bed and gussed that she is perhaps wanting to sleep with him and hence he messed with her.
The way he was looking at her when she was walking towards the sofa was like he was measuring his chances. That uncertainty in his walk was like he wanted to be sure about his next step and when he finally slept besides her, his expression was so relaxed.
The banter that came next was just so natural. And when he attempted to kiss her, he still gave her the chance to stop him. He did not dive straight in. And when Bella rejected him, he took it so calmly. He withdrew himself and quietly asked her whether he should go back to bed? And when she nodded his head, he showed his disappointment so subtly. The way he rubbed his own hair and that cute look was just😳
When Bella finally came and slept with him and kissed him l, that look of pure happiness was too good. 😳
