Because Nakuul's face will no longer be associated with Shivaay, in the new pairing. It will be the face for some other character, his son I guess, then.I know online audience is all about pairings and ships. But honestly trp audience doesn't care for that. They care for characters. If they cared for actors, then shows with the best actors or most popular actors would have done well, but that is not the case.For the tv audience, Shivika's story would be over, and they will move on to the next generation's story. If the Gen next story is told well, then who knows, IB might rebound on the trp list (from where it has been expunged since a month or more). And trp is all that matters for StarThis is nothing new, its being done several times on tv and films before.If they get a famous actress opposite NM like Drashti or someone, then their pairing will be huge too, just like KVB brought his own fanbase to QH.Thats just how industry works. *shrugs*
QH was aired in Zee channel which doesn't scrap the shows so quickly even when the trps are bad but star plus is not like that.The channel already gave enough chance for IB by providing 1 hour episodes for almost 4 months which was for the first time in the Indian Tv history for a daily soap.I didn't know any info about QH but i think KSG was not stayed in the show for 2.5 yrs long like Surbhi chandna before being chucked out/quit.
And one more point,trp viewers are women,so they connect more with FL than ML,so KSG like male character doesn't impact the viewers to such an extent a FL would impact.
And the most important thing is Writers of the show will be sufficient to make this leap a disaster.Mark my words.
As you mentioned the name Drasti,i tell you her role was hated by many viewers in other show for whatever reasons we know.so it needs some time for viewers to forget that character played by her,so if suppose she took the role as FL in the show which was already established and is ready to end,there is very less chance of people liking her character that too after they chucked out such iconic character like Anika and with a crap writer like Harneet.

You are contradicting your own statements,First you are telling trp viewers doesn't see actors popular or not and then again you are saying if they get famous actor like Drasti,the pairing will be huge too??
