Guys, first of all I know there's been a lot of chaos in the BP fandom with the news of BP going off-air. Telly Chakkar reported the same & this was followed by a couple of news portals. Despite the off-air news none took I seriously, but yesterday a morphed tweet disturbed the fandom to an extent that we have been trending Don'tendbepannaah internationally & across India. There has also been immense support for the show from Raj Baddhan, Asjad & Mallika Bhatt who are known faces on ITV media. Also, Rajesh Ji's sudden exit from the show & his farewell video created ripples in the fandom. I don't say this isn't a bad news as even I've been trending this continuously. But, do you think fans are overreacting with the rumor? Atleast, I feel Bepannaah is safe for atleast an year. Probably fans are disturbed at the fact that HC/Iqbal & Apoorva have been giving vague news regarding the same issue. Also the show and the actors immense popularity & their nominations in the ITA is a bigger proof of the same. Jenshad are the faces for ITA from the channel undoubtedly. Maximum BP will go through a slot change again but I do feel the show is safe atleast till an year. Whenver a new show is getting launched BP will face the brunt, but mind you BP's performance has been extremely strong for the first 6.5 months than any of its new launches. The show had the highest opening for a week day show. It opened at top 5 overall & top 1 on Colors. Not BB & Not DEM nor an other show on Colors achieved that. I know offlate the show is going through dismal ratings but I don't think it will shut shop. TA & Kasam ran for more than an year with ratings below 1. BP is certainly more popular than the former.

BP is not safe but it's definitely not going to end in 2 weeks time. I read on twitter by some fans 5 new shows will be introduced three of the show names I am aware of sitara, tantra and ali baba. Channel will never axe off IMMJ and shakti coz these are the only two shows which have high TRPs. IWL is not prime slot and it's by rashmi sharma so is roop hence colors won't dare to end any of her shows. Salim anarkali is relatively new so channel will still give it some time. that leaves silsila, Bepannaah and possibly udaan in danger. Colors is not Sony where they give a lot of importance to online popularity. I am now only waiting for some kind of official confirmation, preparing myself for the worst.

@shallowopinions I agree with you. Believe me none of us are worried about the show ending. The news that it is gonna be shut shop in 2 weeks is what made the fans crazy nd to panick. No promos is another thing which adds fuel to the fire. If the news had been that show is ending in december then none of us would have felt this bad though 1 month ending is also unfair. 2 weeks wrap up is horrible for any show and terrible for a show like BP. I sincerly wish that ur guess should come true. Bp may face timeslot change but not sure. Everything is not sure untill official co firmation comes frm the PH or channel side. Last time ani sir and actors cleared the rumours directly while this time all are giving diplomatic answers!! Lets hope nd pray that it should atleast get 1 month extension period. BP deserves it. But iam preparing for everything.

I think at the moment over-reaction is better than keeping calm and not doing anything..we can't take chances..I don't know whether this trending and all will change anything but atleast if we try our level best we won't have any regret of not doing anything even after getting a clue.

Hey Cherry, I know a lot of us might feel BP is under the scanner bcoz of the constant rumors surrounding the show & since 2 weeks they haven't given a promo. Also the fake screenshot claiming there's an issue between the channel & the PH. Jenshad's sudden disappearance from SM has also given fuel to the rumors. But I do feel in a real scenario, BP is doing much better than roop both online & in the UK. Even in BARC, both were at same ratings until 2 weeks back. See, I know it's a Rashmi sharma show but even DSDT was also a Rashmi show but it did shut shop. So we can't say anything.

I like your positivity 😳 i'm not completely being a negative nellie here somewhere I still have hope but if the official confirmation news is - ve, there's nothing we can do about it, we will have to accept the reality. When a show is abruptly ended, it's mainly the fans who sit back crying and find it difficult to move on. Jenshad and the rest of the cast and crew will be upset by the ending of the show but they will move on soon. DSDT was a Shashi Sumeet PH show not rashmi sharma

In the first place there was huge fire which caused Major lossea to rhe Ph. Those days it was like a circus, many came to see the ashes and rhe burnt down studio. They got back on their feet and started BP. How much insurance was claimed if any or what was the claim amount recd isnt mentioned in the financials. They are operating on a net loss of 2 crores plus ( not sure of the exact figure).

They also have YTG which has not made any noise , i saw few episodes but felt that the creatives has dragged the kids track to 4 months just to balance the expns incurred by BP.. Now they have low budget leads and this plot is for trp aunties so it is doing well. Trps have risen steadily.

Here in BP thanks to colors and a unsteady trp fans ,numbers are declining. Almost all colors dailies are under performing. They have BB on their head and DEM are very expensive. Moreover SO and RS are old producers , based on good will they can fight for their shows, IWL, Roop,Udaan and Silsila ( even after the negative backlash) do have some trp fan base, cost looks to be low.

Same goes for Udaan .

However if Cinevistaas decide to call it a day after taking pros and cons including possible difference of opinions with colors, they can shut shop. For me everything went down with Arshad and that snake wedding

Colors is responsible for promotions but it is also the reason why BP is in a state of decline..

With regards to fans, twitter seems to be very passionate but insta fans, one of the major fan page has turned it into a businesa service, nobody are in union there.. it looks like they have shifted loyalties to the snakes and dayans out there

Harshad's pravachan on BizAsia isn't typical of him, no official confirmation from Iqbal Sir gives all the fodder to conclude that the show is ending. Normally before a show goes on air colors i think releases the dates atleast a week or 10 days in advance , so we have to see when it is going to do that. I think channel itself is confused.

BP is honestly the only reason I started watching ITV again. The cast, these beautiful characters, these loose ends, and everything doesn't deserve to be shut down at a pace when things are going so good. If they want better TRP, they should move the slot to an earlier time or promote the show until the time it comes on air. Honestly, if they close shop on BP like this - I don't think I'll ever watch another ITV show again. This is injustice with not only the cast & crew but also the fans.

i mean we knew that BP is gonna end most likely after this murder/rajveer track what makes me more upset is that they are ending it in 2 weeks.. this show deserves better and colors need to use their brain
