Kabeer is an utterly selfish, self centered and weak person with a really low self esteem, he cannot handle his wife's fame and intelligence and somewhere he knows that she is far more superior in her ideologies and is far more capable than he is and he is just not able to come to terms with this fact! The only person who needs to change his views is Kabeer! And for obvious reasons that won't happen and the story is going to drag!

Right now their relationship is nothing less than a relationship between a boss and an employee. The boss will happily provide all the services ,pay a good amount of salary until the employee is abiding by his rules. Even provide him with extra services like free family vacation to some place. But the moment the employee starts making his own decisions and stops complying with the boss's idealogy he will threaten to fire him. He will ask the employee to either choose between the company or his smartness. Because the boss expects his employees to work under his guidance.

Similarly Kabeer is the boss here and Zara his employee. He will claim that he loves her and that he will fullfill all her little dreams. But as soon as there's little hope for Zara's success and if she is willing to grab it,he will try to pull her down. He makes conditions to either choose him or the project.

It's sad that our male lead is still so selfish and self centred person. He truely deserves a person like Rukhsar and nothing less. Zara is way tooo good for him. I wish Zara had left Kabeer long back,she would have been so successful by now.

Maybe found a better person for herself.
