I agree Nandini's character is required to progress the story. If not Drashti, they would have find her replacement... otherwise no charm to see her repenting...
But which actress will get ready to play such weak character is again a million dollar qs😆

Nandini's death is not her Karma.Its a punishment for her daughter and Kunal.
Kunal's punishment is justified but poor baby also has to bear the punishment.
CV's had to kill Nandini because Drashti had quit.
