Hi All

We have ad some security breaches on the Forum in the last couple of days..

Can IF please advise members of what to do if this occurs with some guidance of Security on the FORUM...on how we are protected😊

I have seen this happen in the past 24 hours and i think we need to be vigilent regarding this issue..

Hi, yes there has been some hacking in the near past.

It would be an extremely good idea to change your password to something only you know. That's one of the few things you can do from your end...

However, if you're ID's been hacked, and they've posted or PMed someone from it, let us (one of the development team members) know, as we do have some technology to figure out who it is!

@IceFire. So now we know it's not you! That leaves us with only another 4 lakh members to check? 😉 😆

@Kat: Well, all IF can do in terms of technicality would be to ensure that we can restore to you your ID. It is upto us, the members to make sure our passwords are extremely strong! But yes, we will try to post some guidelines for members soon! 😛

Cheers Sam i think the feature which u have that keeps ur passowrd on the local pc is wrong and turned off and members should have a strong password...

But guidance would be a good place to start as u owe ur members that much 😛
