After that mind boggling kiss between them both were in different states of mind.
Shivay was hopeful after she kissed him back and was ready to face anything and everything to make her stay forever. He has decided to be selfish for once in his life. He was willing to cross anything to make her his, with these thoughts he slept peacefully first time in these busy weeks.
On other hand, Anika was disturbed as the passionate moment between them was playing like a recorded tape in her mind. She tried to think of something else but it keeps coming back. She talked to Sahil and her best friend for 2 hours but still nothing is working to make her forget that kiss and his confession. Somewhere she was aware that she has feelings for him but she was never going acknowledge them by herself. So she did, what she could do to pull herself out of this emotions and feelings. She called her LAWYER!!
Oberoi Mansion
8:30am
Everyone was already present at the dinning for the breakfast except Anika.
Dadi- Where is Anika puttar?? Haven't seen her after the breakfast yesterday.
Shivay- Dadi, she was busy with office yesterday and Ravi uncle decided to leave yesterday so, she went to drop him off to the airport in the evening.
Shivay didn't want to involve his whole family into his mess so, avoided giving out more info then needed.
Rudra- Dadi, now you should ask Shivay bhaiya only for anything related to Bhabhi ,as he knows her whole schedule for the day.
He said teasing Shivay.
Om- Yes, you are right Rudi. I guess now to talk with Anika, we should just ask him about her whereabouts.
Everyone smiled at this except Tej Shakti and Shivay , as they very well knew what happened between the two the day before.
DJ- I m very happy to see my Aniie taken care of so well by all of you. I wouldn't have found any better son in law then Shivay. He is diamond for my kiddo. Now I can die in piece.
At the same time, Anika walked in.
Anika- DJ, don't ever talk about death. You know na how much I hate it. If I ever hear you say that again I would never talk with you.
Rudra- Anika Bhabhi finally you are here. Now we can start the breakfast, this Sumo is relishing the parathas just by looking lustily at them.
But Anika didn't sit down, she looked at the only empty seat beside Shivay in anger.
Tej- Come on Anika beta, sit.
Shivay too looked at her with expectations. Anika avoided him feeling awkward from last night incident.
Anika- DJ Dadi I have to leave for the office now. I just got a call. Something urgent came up and since dad is not here I have to go.
Dadi- Anika, I can't let you leave without breakfast. I know work is important but look at you, you seem so weak and it looks like you didn't got proper sleep. Your eyes are swollen and red.
Everyone's attention went to her face now. She definitely looked tired and sleep deprived. Anika avoided every gaze which were than scrutinizing her.
DJ- Yes, kalyani is right. What happened kiddo? Is something bothering you?
Anika- Dadi DJ, it's nothing, I slept late because I had to deal with some legal decisions about something very important and it couldn't wait till morning. Now too I m headed to my lawyer's office for completion of papers so the legal proceedings can commence as soon as possible.
She said looking at Shivay the whole time.
Shivay was miserable hearing that she couldn't even wait a day to start with divorce proceedings. She wanted to leave him ASAP.
Tej looked at Shivay with an understanding and give him an assuring blink to remain calm. Shivay too nodded.
Shivay- Whatever it is Anika, you can't leave without breakfast. Just sit down, it won't take more than 15 minutes with the speed you eat.
He said calmly.
Rudra- Ohh the couple spat is about to began, where are the popcorns.
Ignoring Rudra,
Anika- What do you mean by the speed I eat at. You think I m some pig who gobbles everything down my throat. I eat well and my speed is like a normal human being unlike you who eats like a Cow...very slow.
Rudra- Ting and this round goes to Anika Bhabhi.
Shivay - Shut up Rudy... And What do you mean by that?? And I never called you a pig. You did called it by yourself. Now sit and don't waste anymore time arguing. You are getting late for the important legal work right remember.
Anika- I m not the one arguing, you started it. And who are you to tell me what to do. If I want to eat or not is my will. You can't interfere in this.
Shivay- I m your husband. So I vowed to take care of you till the end so, I am doing the same as I promised myself.
Anika- You don't have to pretend...
She was cut off...
DJ- Stop it kido, what has gotten into you this early in the morning?? Why are you fighting with Shivay? He cares for you and wants you to be healthy, what's wrong in that? You are creating unnecessary tiff between you both. You are now married Annie, you have to consider Shivay's views too... And you can't argue with him on every single thing. You have to respect him. Now sit down and complete your breakfast and don't get up from this table until you finish it.
Anika knew better than to oppose her DJ, so she silently took the seat beside Shivay for the breakfast.
Everyone too sighed in relief that a huge storm was stopped before it hits home.
Shivay was relieved that atleast she is eating and he knew , she didn't eat anything the entire day yesterday after morning breakfast .
Rudra- Dadi DJ...Tomorrow is karva chouth right?
DJ- I completely forgot after seeing these two behaving like kids...atleast someone did remember Annie... Kido tomorrow you are keeping the fast right? Afterall, It's your first karva chouth.
She looked at Anika with expectant eyes.
Other family members hold their breath waiting for the decision.
Anika wanted to deny straight away but didn't voiced it out.
Anika- DJ, you know na I don't believe in all this fasting for the long life of husband and all...Also you only told that if I don't eat for longer time I get sick...then why you want me to keep this fast where, whole day I cannot eat or drink anything ?
DJ- I know kido but its very important to keep this fast in our culture... I know you don't believe in these things and you get sick that's why you will be on bed rest the whole day tomorrow till the moon rises. That way your energy will be saved and you can successfully complete it.
Anika sighed seeing the happiness and exitment in her grandma eyes and she didn't want to disappoint her again , so she agreed.
Dadi- Not only you Umaji...we shall all take care of our Anika tomorrow after all it's her first festival as Shivay's wife. Come on Pinki and Janvi I want this to be celebrated grandly. Let's start the preparation.
Everyone became happy seeing Anika has agreed to celebrate her the very first festival as a Oberoi.
Shivay smiled seeing his wife will keep the fast for him though not by her own free will but still her denial in the start had hurt him a little . Also now he got the idea how to make his lady love fall in love with him. He can clearly see who is able to tame his wild, free-spirited wife and can make her do anything without being denied even for once.
