PiAnsh SS - King Of Darkness(Updated/Chapter 1 on Pg 2)

Okay guys here is my first SS on Piansh.I am writing after a really long hiatus so please forgive the grammatical errors 😆.I hope you all enjoy it.

She looked so beautiful when asleep.The entire room would have been engulfed in darkness had it not been for the window which allowed the moonlight to enter and get reflected on her face.Except the moonlight was not the only thing which it allowed.He knew that he did not require any window or door to see her.It would take him seconds to barge into her house,engulf her in his arms and keep them wrapped around her for eternity.

'But would it be of any use? She hates you.',said that voice which refused to leave him despite centuries of efforts.

'Shut up!! Just shut up.You are not real and I know it.Stop interrupting my thoughts.',he gritted under his breath.

'Oh yes I remember.How can I be real?You killed me afterall.Killed your own mother...'

'You were no mother of mine!! You merely birthed me and conspired to use me for your nefarious motives.You destroyed my life and took away everything from me.My family.My life.My love'

'Ansh beta!! Now don't give me the credit for something I never did.I admit I had my fair share of contribution.But we can very well say that you did that to yourself.'

'Leave.Me.Alone.'

The voice faded away.He knew that it was nothing more than a fragment of his imagination.It was his suppressed guilt which haunted him in the form of his mother's voice.It is said that time is the best healer.But this was something which remained with him like a tiny thorn in his fingernail which kept on pricking him from time to time.His attention went back on her sleeping form and he could feel the sensation of relief surging through his mind once again.The effect which she had on him was still the same.She excited him as well as soothed him.Watching her brought back old memories which were buried within him and he did not stop them.The memories also brought that soul crushing pain along with them which ripped his heart constantly.Every single moment spent without her in those three hundred years stabbed him.But finally his wait was over.Seeing her in front of him was the proof of that.He had been forgiven by the deities.

'But will you forgive me?For what I did to you? I cannot undo the past.But neither can I let you go this time.',he mused.

He bent down to savour the sight of her face.He was afraid that she would disappear the moment he took his eyes away from her.He wanted to take her with him at that very moment.Just then another voiced nudged him.However unlike his mother's voice,it was quite loud and clear.

'Sorry to disobey your command Lord.But you need to be back right away.Those two are back to their old antics and only you can bring them back to their senses'

He cursed under his breath.Then he placed a gentle kiss on her forehead and stood up to have one last glance at her for that day.

'I shall come back.I promise.And you shall meet me in due course of time.I am sorry once again.And happy birthday my dearest Pia',he said before he disappeared into the darkness.

Her eyes opened with a jolt.She could sense someone's presence in the room even though it was fairly impossible.At the same time she felt a strange sadness in her heart.

Born to a human and a daayan,Ansh Rathore is the Daavansh who changed the history of the supernatural realm.
Three centuries ago he rose to power among the supernaturals after killing his mother Mohona and ultimately united the realm under his rule to become the first immortal Daavansh.However everything came at a price and for the Daavansh it was the other half of his soul.The Daivik.As a ruler,Ansh is fair and just.But if anyone dares to break the rules then he or she has to face the wrath of the Daavansh.
For centuries Ansh has waited for his love to return but when she finally does Ansh has to fight his own inner demons as well as remind her of the love which they shared.


Pia Sareen

The pampered daughter of an architect and a scientist,Pia believes in enjoying every moment of her life.She is your typical girl next door who hangs out with her friends,goes to work and derives her joy from dance and from helping others.
However she is still oblivious to her true identity as a Daivik and also to the fact that her destiny is intertwined with another powerful supernatural being,the Daavansh,with whom she has a history long forgotten.

Shriyan

The right hand man of Ansh,Shriyaan is an Angiri or a descendant of the fire god Agni who is responsible for watching over sacrificial fires.Shriyan is Ansh's closest friend who has remained by his side for centuries.Short tempered at times and quick witted,Shriyan is fiercely loyal to Ansh and can lay down his life for him.He is at loggerheads with Ansh's relatively new lieutenant

Nihita

Born to a human father and an Apsara mother,Nihita inherited her mother's beauty as well as powers of influencing the water and the clouds.Saved from the evil clutches of a demon by Ansh,Nihita owes her life to him and is ready to do anything for him.Under Ansh's instructions,she befriended Pia who was the reincarnation of Ansh's Daivik soulmate.Gradually she grew fond of Pia and resolved to protect her at any cost.However she is met with constant suspicion from Ansh's closest aide Shriyan whom she is unable to convince of her good intentions.


Robin Mathur

Pia's neighbour and childhood friend who has a soft corner for her and hopes to marry her someday.
