At Basu house Anu tries to explain to Mohininbut Moh retorts back that if Anu had doubts he could have called up Navin on phone n clarified

Anu tries to explain but mohini is in no mood to hear him out .
Nivi interrupts asking why was anu doing al this ?? Anu retorts it was because of his friend Pre .

Mohini scolds Anu and all family disperse n to get ready for Aashirvad .
Nav is fuming about moloy's slap but is waiting to retaliate .Nav accuses Moloy of being against Nav Pre shaadi so nav declared he will not go ahead with Aashirvaad anu is happy while Pre is shocked .

Moloy apologizes with joined hands before nav for acting rashly . Anu feels disgusted .
After every one leave Anu Navu have confrontation . Anu retorts n leaves . Nav says Anu did not know when he started faling for Pre and things have gone ahead between them unknown to them and this was bad news for Navu. He fumes .
Drivng back home in taxi Pre feels hapy to have friend like Anu in her life who would fight for her n had guys to take a stand for her .she wishes she could share every problem of hers with Anu .she feels guilty of hiding her problem from Anu .
She smiles thinking of Anu .
Anu is in his room thinking of Pre as he looks at his hanky with Pre's kajal.stain on it . He wants to shield Pre.from all troubles and always be there for her ...always ..
He then.tries to figure out how Jaan disappeared ..he is sure he had seen the women getting i timate with Nav .. he wonders when did Nav see him following .
In his room Nav explains to Jaan how he spotted Anu spying .hkw he send Jaan away n invited reluctant Pre to check her ring n suite .

Jaan is impressed how he clean bowled Anu today . Nav laughs at Moloy's plight .jaan says sharma family will never dare to break this alliance . She

At Basu house guests start ariving and mohini boasts to her high society friends of an even grander party at the time of Anurag's wedding .
Anupam pulls Navu's leg by saying this was Anu Pre's engagement .

At Sharma house Pre returns home with the engagement rill stil losely fitting . Sis Shalini remarks that ring will never stay . Hurry, excitement nom jhok .. tensed moments later sharma family arrives at Basu house with the gifts .
Their excitement evaporates when.Nivi ignores them at the gate n goes.off.. no member of Basu family is there to receive or welcome them . They feel insulted . Pre then teaches her a lesson by giving it back to her for insulting her family .
