Well, she was not ready to die for Mauli. Since her final memories at that moment were of romance with Kunal & not of guilt of hurting Mauli. 😆

Makers use Rajdeep only to show that Rajdeep is cruel & how she is better than him. Otherwise, they don't find any other way for Nandini. She lacks conscience on her part which kicks in only when Rajdeep comes into picture. Even Mauli has now failed to shake her.

But it's ridiculous because she can't break a promise but she can lie to Mauli, hide Kunal in her washroom, sleep with him

yes but who would actually be like okay chill lets go burn me alive... The point is, she went with him knowing that she will be killed.
But she's not showing to be goody goody, she knows that she made a mistake and she has to pay for it somehow and killing herself is probs the biggest punishment, so she's doing it.

She takes one step forward sincerely, but she just goes back 10 steps. Sacrifice means standing firm on the ground no matter what. It takes a lot of strength to stand firm on a decision of sacrifice because there will always be temptations.
I can't see Nandini sacrificing. It was positive for me to watch when Nandini still decided to leave the city after that video message. (honestly it was) But like 10 hours later, she is back to her old self where she lets Kunal take a decision for herself. If she was so sincere about taking a decision for herself, then why not stand on it even now. If friendship was so important to her even now, then why not give it back to Kunal now. If she went to sacrifice herself in that fire, then it should be Mauli for whom she was sacrificing herself & not Kunal. What's the point of being forced to take a decision by blackmail or a pinky promise? How is it a sacrifice? It means you clearly lack a conscience of your own to see & understand things

And Nandini going back to Rajdeep for sacrifice will be the stupidest thing to watch. She can leave city but no, she has to go to Rajdeep & be abused, tortured & killed to show the sacrifice, as if there is no other way for her to show sacrificing in real sense. She is not trapped in Rajdeep's clutches where there is no other escape. She has escape & she can escape, then why not take that route to show that your promise to a friend means something. But it's no use now, since Kunal already knows about the pinky promise thing. So, the show has gotten past to show sacrifice on Nandini's part. Nothing at this moment can be considered a sacrifice on her part.

But NO, makers are more interested to show this woman as a true lover rather than a true friend & a woman who would stand for her dignity.
Nandini can compromise with her dignity, self-esteem as a woman but not with Kunal. And that's the part I don't like. She wants to be with a man who has barely taken any stand for her in front of the whole world. Kunal can take a stand for her in front off Mauli, his family. Nandini can take a stand for him in front of Rajdeep. But that's it. When it comes to others, these two just go quiet and Nandini goes to crying mode. None of them have words to utter escape Mauli who can still say that this is their matter to speak on.

That's the only reason why I am not liking Mauli too at this point. I understand her hurt & anger, her pregnancy & her own feelings weighing her down as a wife but I don't like her begging for Kunal since that's a compromise on her individual self-respect & dignity. It's simply painful for me to watch.

I am so with you on this. Even now when Kunal knows about the pinky promise, what is stopping her from going. She has promised her friend. Promise is promise. Why is the choice only between going back to Kunal or Rajdeep? Tomorrow she is going to see Kunal and Mauli confrontation. She is going to see Mauli begging Kunal. I would have liked her to take a stand for Mauli. If for a pinlky promise you are ready to die, then why not make stand when your friend is humiliating herself. I would have actually applaud her if she would have done that tomorrow, women power and all. Where is that conscience??Where is the sacrifice that we were promised?

But no, madam is going to stand, watch her friend cry, go on a date with Kunal and then return to Rajdeep. Its almost history repeating itself only this time its more worse because Mauli is more broken and we are back to square one.

Frankly, I am not a big fan of Kunal but at present he is the only sensible person on this show. He knows the marriage is over, he knows they cannot unite and he knows there is no going back for them. .When he told Nandini today, that if I do not stay with you, I will stay alone but I cannot go back to Mauli, I was like, Thank God, there is atleast one sensible person in Malhotra household who knows that the marriage is over and nothing can fix it. Yes, he is hurting Mauli but men in EMA generally behave this way. They do not care about the wife at all. He knows what he wants and he is going about getting it at any cost. Very selfish, very inhumane, but in the long run this is good for Mauli.

I don't know what colour this woman is being washed because my brain is too traumatised by her personality to make any logical judgement. She is the most confusing mental character I have ever seen.
She completely lacks any sense of self, integrity or resilience. Did she get knocked on the head by her husband causing brain damage?
She just can't stand her ground...
Wanted to leave city but doesn't
Doesn't want to hurt Mauli but sleeps with K
Says K is her life and she is going fana in his love but can't be bothered to fight for him, because she promised!!!!
She chooses to die rather than be with K to keep the promise
Then in a matter of hours promise gone, pain gone and pasta shuru date shuru !!!!!
Accepts ring !!!!

Honestly 😲
We have to put up with all this BS because the show is depicting reality . 😡
Sorry but there is only so much I can bear I HAD TO RANT

If sacrifice is the way to go, then make her stand firm on her decision. Mauli is standing right in front of her and she is not able to see her pain. Is this the same Nandini who was pinning for Mauli and cried when she saw Mauli after so many years.

If she stands for Mauli today and tells Kunal, "How dare you treat my friend this way..I cannot do this to my friend, how much ever I love you , you need to go, I cannot be with you". That will be something...

Birthday party and being sati are not the way to do it...

That's the problem, if she takes a stand against the way Kunal is treating Mauli the divine love will fail no? They want audience to see that Nandini is a good human being and that she is with Kunal only because God, Kunal etc forced her otherwise she wouldn't have slept with Mauli's husband. This is weird with Indian shows, they think female lead can't be wrong, female leads are not wrong, they butcher everyone around them to show that they were right all along

"She went with him knowing she'll be killed"
What statement is this? Rajdeep kidnapped her, he didn't ask her for permission, then he tied her to chair, she did not go to him, and she can die for Mauli but not spare a thought to her in her last time, all she thought about was Kunal, then she kept telling Rajdeep that kunal is her heart, Kunal is this or that, I didn't see her saying "I wronged Mauli so I should die", she was sacrificing herself for a promise she made to Mauli, there was no guilt, no remorse.

When Kunal saved her and told her that he can't go back to Mauli, she didn't say "This is wrong" she said "Mauli nahi samajh rahi hai ye, she wants Kunal"
Where exactly is guilt? Where did you see it? Sacrifice is ehsaan on Mauli, not Nandini's guilt.
Now look at her preparing pasta for Kunal and saying yes to marry him after Mauli her friend literally begged Kunal to not leave her, remember when Nandini begged Rajdeep to let her inside the house and when she begged him not to hurt her when he got to know about her pregnancy, same woman is immune to pain of Mauli, who saved her from that very torture.

What guilt are you talking about?
