Dadimaa:- Disgusting...You disgust me Annie... Was my upbringing so low that you stooped to this level...And now acting like this???? Like as if, nothing has happened...

This time Maan didn't come in between, coz he knew she still was not over her anger on the matter and seeing Annie, smiling at her, just added more anger to her and so, in reaction her hand raised on Annie's cheek...But, Annie too had had enough...She raised her voice, that even Maan didn't approve of...

Annie:- Dadimaa... You are slapping me for this girl???

Dadima:- Mind your tongue... She is your SIL...

Annie(mocked):- Huhh!! SIL??? Dadi she is a manipulator, she is a blackmailer and she is using you now...

Dadima(raised her voice):- Shut up Annie... You don't realize what you have done to this girl, do you??? You still are blaming her for everything...When the fact is, you are sole person responsible for her this condition...(She pointed her finger at Annie who looked on shocked) If she has manipulated someone then it is because of you...If she is a blackmailer then you are the reason she has chosen this way to avenge for her losses...(She paused and shook her head) She is not using anyone, its you, who has used her and stole her groom... Its you, coz of whom Maan is facing this day...Its all coz of you, am in this condition...(She ended pointed her herself)

Annie (was teary hearing her Dadi saying so harsh things to her):- Dadi...????

Maan was abt to say something for his sister, but Dadi eyed him and he went mum...

Dadi:- Don't even think abt defending her Maan...

Geet looked at them all and instantly felt bad for everything, whatever it was...Annie was right, she was the cause, because of whom this family was breaking...But, she just wanted Her Abductor to know he also was an ordinary man, who too had a family to lose...just like she did... and was now never going to let them meet or take her away from her chosen life...She was going to compromise with everything...She looked back at the elderly lady who now has stood, not for her, but for... what was right...And she felt gratitude for the elderly lady...

Dadi(looked away):- I don't want to face you two... Attend Maan and Geet's reception and leave for your home...and dare you say anything else to Geet from today... She is my Bahu and I expect you to respect my Bahu... Just like Maan and I do for your so called husband... Huhh!! What a character he is ... Disgusting...

With that muttered, Dadimaa left the sister and bro alone and joined Geet on dining table, with a smile which Geet returned with teary eyes...The BF was going on in complete silence before it was broken by Dadi's voice...

Dadimaa:- Geet beta, I have talked with your parents... They are coming for your reception party, am arranging tomorrow...

Geet('s eyes went big at that):- They are coming??? (Dadima saw her worried face and knew what exactly was bothering her, she placed her hand atop Geet's)

Dadima:- Don't worry, they are just coming to attend the party...And I will clear everything there...(Seeing Geet's worried face she assured her) I assure you they won't be taking you away without your consent... (Before Geet could have said something she contd)Don't worry they will not take my Bahu away from me...I won't let that happen... (She smiled back at a teary eyed Geet and then looked at both Maan and Geet)I have taken your silence as yes for a new beginning so start a fresh from tomorrow...Hmm???(In response Maaneet just looked away, Dadimaa smiled and then her smile went off glancing at an angry Annie) Am not inviting Arjun's family since I don't want any drama tomorrow..And I have taken this decision deliberately and hope no one is hurt in that ...

Arjun(looked down as Dadi's gaze was at him now):- You have all the rights Dadi... In fact thank you for not involving my parents in this...(Annie looked at him as he said so and Dadimaa smiled in a mock to convey her response)

Dadimaa(ST):- They anyway are going to get involved ...and you are going to tell them the truth of your marriage... Just one more day's wait and this will also be sorted... I wouldn't allow you all to lie any more...

Next Day,

Dadima knocked at Maaneet's bedroom door and entered as Geet stepped out...Both the ladies exchanged smiles at each other before Geet bent and took her blessings...Maan was getting ready for office ..Dadimaa sighed knowing he was not going to really cooperate with her in trying to start afresh...She turned to Geet...

Dadimaa:- Beta, I brought a dress for you ...and I wish to see you in this at the party in evening... You will wear this right???

Geet(smiled a bit and took the packet from her hands and was left shocked at the costly sari she was gifted along with heavy jewelry): Dadimaa, this is very expensive...I can't...

Dadimaa(interrupted her): Why can't you??? You are a Khurrana Bahu and a Khanna daughter, you deserve to wear such dresses not these plain ones...I know you don't want to take money from Maan...But, now you have me... You can ask me anything beta, its your right...

Geet(looked down):- Dadimaa, this is too much ...I can't ...

Dadimaa:- Geet, don't argue...Am not hearing a no on this... And no one has any right to mock at you for this... (She said her whereas her eyes were on Maan's reflection on mirror, he too looked at that and sighed, looking away) This is my gift for your wedding... And yes, I have called a few girls from parlor, they will help you get ready for the eve...So, get free from small works they will be here in 2 hrs...

Geet:- Ji Dadimaa...(Geet simply nodded and Dadimaa stood to go...while glancing at Maan, she said)

Dadimaa:- I know you must have lots of work at office but I want you back at home on your usual time that is, 5pm...Don't be late Maan...

Maan just stared her for a few moments before the lady touched Geet's cheek in affection and exited their room...

Maan entered the room to witness Geet standing in front of mirror and trying to adjust her dress with her mehndi clad hands, that were giving her tough time... First he thought to help her but then decided otherwise and went to rest room...

When he came out she still was struggling with dori...now she looked a bit frustrated...Her cheek and neck at the back were messed with mehndi...She still needed to get ready as she looked at a dressed Maan in the reflection...He went and sat on couch taking up a random magazine from table, and commented...

Maan:- You aren't fully ready yet...Guests have started to arrive...(and got a retort in an anger filled reply)

Geet:- Can't you see am struggling???

Maan(shrugged):- So??? (He pretended to think and then)Ahh!! Do you want to say that I might help you??

Geet(looked away in anger):- Yeah, help me and just get outta here...

Maan:- Hmm, if my getting outta the room will fix your dress then its okhh...I may just go out...(with that he started to go out when he was called back by her)

Geet:- Maan, wait...(She turned and looked down not meeting his gaze...she muttered in almost an inaudible voice)Help me...

Maan:- Sorry, couldn't get you???

Geet(knew he was pretending but this was his tease time):- Plz help me and fix this ...

Maan:- Why ???

Geet:- My mehndi is still wet...They just applied at the end after getting me ready...and asked to wash hands once am called down...

Maan(smirked):- My Q was...why...why me???

Geet(looked at him in anger and turned her head):- Forget that I even asked you...

But before Geet could have completely turned she was pulled back by her waist and she gasped at the contact...

Geet:- What...

Maan:- Sshhh!!!

He silenced her placing his finger on her lips and then bent on her...first he cleaned the mess her hands had created with a wet cloth, kept on the dressing...The cheek and then her back...and then fixed the dori...Maan smiled feeling her uneven breaths and couldn't stop himself from teasing her...

Maan:- My closeness still affects you...It reminds me of the time we spent in that cottage....(She was brought back with that sentence and tried to push at him) Ahaan...(He caught her hand in his) You are abt to spoil my dress now...Spoil my dress and am gonna make the perfect excuse of skipping this event...saying you have ruined my dress... (He smirked and knew she wouldn't dare much to free herself and his threat angered her more)

Geet:- Leave me... (She tried getting herself free but he only smirked at response) Leave or else am gonna kick you...

Maan:- I don't think so... (with that he turned her hands at her back and made her walk with him to the rest room)

Geet(was confused):- what are you doing??? (She finally asked as he opened the tape and put her hands in water)

Maan:- Washing your hands, I don't want my name getting darker on your hands...

Geet:- Oh don't worry... I was tolerating your name for Dadimaa's happiness...Now I will tell her that you have ruined it...(She smirked at his shocking expressions)

Maan(turned her back to face him): Why are you so keen in getting closer to Dadi... Oh actually I know, she is your pawn in this so called Revenge of yours, right??? I won't let you use her...

Geet(pushed at him):- Huhhh!!! Guess, you are late in figuring that out... Coz she already has been involved in this game... And she loves and trusts me more than her grandchildren... (She smirked at him saying so rendering him mum)

Dadimaa(interrupted them):- Maan, Geet...(She called them out and then knocked at the rest room door)Geet Beta, are you in there???

Maan(came out holding Geet's hand in his, dragging her):- We are here Dadimaa...

Dadimaa(looked away at first but then smiled at them both):- Good to see you both together ...

Maan smiled at her while Geet was confused at his weird behavior...Dadimaa looked at Geet's hands and praised the design in them...before she took her and Maan outta their room to her room..where a surprise was waiting for her... Her family...
