Why was Aditya in tears?

Were they angry tears? Guilty tears? Sorry tears? Frustration tears? What exactly were they?

Aditya's anger is somewhere justified. It's not he's being mumma's baby. It's about being a son. It doesn't really matter how awful you are to your parents (back of the mind , a kid always feels that it's his right to get angry for whatever reason with their parents. Its like a thing between a child and parents) but if anyother person comes and to say the least , badmouth them , all hell actually break lose. Here Zoya blamed anjana for giving poison to her whole family. Thats pretty big..

And honestly, it was bizarre of Zoya to have reacted the way she did when her father was put behind the bars .

However Arjun was the only one person who has always been sensible and Aditya has always been emotional.

If Aditya can take a stand for Zoya without even EVER listening to his mother or anyone as a matter of fact , he can sure stand by his mother too. Yes , despite being an ass to her all his life , he still should have not believed in one go that his mother tried to kill him and his family and I am happy that he did.

That actually makes a lot of sense! I agree that he was guilty for lashing out at Zoya, but at the same time, I agree with the topic maker that Aditya's reaction as a son was fair. He's doing quite well in the balancing act between his mother and his wife, most men struggle to nail that, but Aditya has been pretty reasonable thus far. If anything, Zoya should've discussed this with him first instead of jumping to the accusation. Aditya would've been able to take care of the matter far better than having to hear his mother getting humiliated by his wife - a wife who constantly promises to fix all problems and make room in her mother-in-law's heart.

He very well knows what price she had to pay to be with him.

And it breaks his heart to see her like this.
