Vikas Bahl was outed in a huffpost article :

It was a good article again, nicely researched and thorough.
The sheer amount of journalist who joined together and forced a Minister of State to resign.
Look at Vinta Nanda and the Alok Nath stories.
Look at the bigwigs of News Media who were exposed.
Things do get messy.
But it was a much needed mess and I am positive good will come of it.
I agree with Huffington Post doing research. Also it's timings matched when Tanushree's allegations had the prime time in media. Whether Tanushree's allegations are true or not, it at least helped one genuine victim get justice.
In M. J Akbar's case, his victims were journalists themselves. When they opened up they made sure, their stories get attention. Even Vinta Nanda is a writer.
It was not because of News Media.
If film media really wanted itself to be taken seriously, it had a great opportunity in Hritik-Kangana case. But it reduced itself to print each star's PR's stories. Where was the investigating journalism there? Then who will take them seriously?
Every one are churning out the same gossips, just attaching the hashtag Metoo (either the news media, or here in IF).
