It's not quite the same room, is it?

Like many other Shivika fans, I'm also happy their blue room is back after the nearly 6 months of green room eyesore😆

But I'm realizing belatedly that it's not quite the same blue room...the wallpaper is a city skyline print again but not quite the same one.

This is what Shivika's room looked like pre-green makeover

This is what it looked like with the awful green makeover😆

And now this is what it looks like post yet another flip back to blue😆😆

The city skyline wallpaper is back but the print is different from the original...this one is more blue...now I'm not sure if that's also thanks to the deliberately dull lighting in the room compared to the original where they had blue/white lines along the border unlike the green ones here. Thankfully the blue furniture is all back...blue table, dresser, cupboards.

My MAJOR problem with the green room was the LIME GREEN color they had painted the tables, dresser, everything...really scarred my eyes each time having to look at that.

I do appreciate the team bringing back the room for whatever reason...whether it was the fan demands or them feeling a blue room suited Shivaay's current depressed state better than a bright green room...lol but I belatedly noticed the small changes more so had to muse out about them.

Oh, I forgot to mention some other changes.

1) The original blue room had a green carpet at the foot of the bed...this one doesn't.

2) Original blue room had cream/metallic silver looking bedsheets/covers...this one has retained the purple bedspread from the green room...another attempt to merge RU/AU maybe?

I felt something is different from the original blue one,but then i ignored it.Thanks for sharing the pics. Now i can see what is that difference haha 😆.i also feel that it is more dark blue than the original one or that might be due to lighting effect idk😆.

Yeah I had a nagging suspicion something was different too but I could only figure out clearly once I went back and looked at old pictures...lol

They seem to be trying to merge the two designs...it's about 80% like the original blue room with all the blue colored furniture, cupboards, the paintings, the lamps...but they've kept some stuff from the green room like the purple bedcover and the green lighting around the back wallpaper...

The orange sofa on the left side of the room remains a constant...whether it's a green room or blue room😆

The funny thing is that the green room also started in the RU only so one can't even say it was an AU thing and making the room blue makes it an RU thing...lol it's like a weird hybrid now.

Nevertheless, it's soothing to see Shivika back in a blue room...so many memories associated with the original blue room all come rushing back :)

I did notice that it was different ( the cityscape wall paper and the carpet and the green light) but I hadn't look at the old caps or episodes to pinpoint the precise changes which I can now see in your caps. I just knew it was not the same cityscape because I had been watching old scenes recently when jadugar was doing his jadu. :). But I hated the green room so I was just happy to have this back even with the differences I don't know if the differences are deliberate or whether 3 years later they might have been able to source the exact same thing. Carpet colour and orange sofa everyone remembers because Anika had given her Vishesh tippani on the decor during the KKT and the post separation episodes 😆.

Also just realizing that the original cityscape wallpaper was like a reflection of the skyline in the water...lol top half was the actual skyline and bottom half was a mirror reflection of it.

Yeh new cityscape wallpaper is all just one skyline view...and I think they lowered the chandelier in the center of the room so that the reflections off it form a pattern on the top half of the wallpaper, cuz otherwise it's a bit bare blue in the top half.

i feel it could be they might have been able to get exact same wallpaper toh jo mila usse kaam chala liya possible hai na? but i hate that green neon light still like plzzz jab itna taam jhaam kharcha kia hai toh usko bhi apni asli wali waapis de dete na it made coloring th escene too hard the neon green was so distracting

also the sofa on otehr side changed to orange but now it s back to apna stripy one

and still don't liek the bed spread bohat hi ajnabee feel hota hai but chalo humara \blue room itna bhi waapis kia bohat hai it still is sukoon wali feeling apne shivika ko apne familiar habitat main dekh ke

I thought they often change the bedcovers to different colors, but didn't notice it clearly while i was watching their scenes

Yeah budget problem to change the sofa.I even wonder now they had taken so much effort to paint the cupboard and shelves in blue again😆

Yeah when Shivika themselves are some kind of hybrid of AU and RU tho room and table ko kya cheez hai CVs ko..haha,but anyway hybrid is any day better than purely AU haha

Yes..so many memories..particularly one of most favourite checking out scene where she says she was looking at the wall behind him and not checking out/Tadoing him saying aap Hritik Roshan nahi ho mei aapko kyo tadungi, mei bahut shariff ladki hu,aisi tuchi luchi harkatein nahi kar sakthe.."aww i am missing this cute Anika so much..sorry for going off a bit AY haha

After seeing your caps first i thought whether they change the position of the wall paper from above or they cut the wall paper from below, then i thought its impossible and finally had come to conclusion its not the same and it is new wallpaper only😆
