What is the solution?

Are all these cases going to court? or matters will end in apologies?

Who has to prove what?

Is it guilty until proven otherwise in women harrassment cases in India?

Accused has to prove innocence?

With all these anonymous people shooting off their mouths on social media??

These are not even official allegations. Solutions ka toh sawal hi payda nahi hota.

Half of them are probably not even genuine. The genuine ones would not say so much...fearing for their careers. The reason why they kept quiet so many years ago in the first place. Eg. Katrina. Aish tried and got a car running over her foot.

Some might even be fabricated to blacken a competitors names.

If at all proper fir etc has been lodged...investigations might be done. That is if the police can do anything before the big bad wolves tie up their hands.

IMO some small fry will be eliminated eg. Vikas bahl and aib guy. Some will bide their time until the hoohaa dies down. Eg.subhash kapoor and sajid khan.

The big fish will keep doing what they did. Eg. Salman khan...probably even bhushan kumar.

Also i think a lot of these allegations are coming from women who have no concrete evidence...witnesses won't corroborate...and most don't even know the difference between harassment and heartbreak. They point fingers at people for having mistresses. #eyeroll. Some even to get back at some old lover.

Its like reading molestation tales. Fareb-ian nights.

Thats where the problem lies doubt that they can proof it cause you dont carry anything with you to tape everyhting that happened and these idiots will use this as their advantage and try to clean their name.

I don't take anonymous ones serious. Some of them can be fake as well. Varun grover has been quite adamant. Luv Ranjan also seemed sincere to me.

This is the beginning of something at least!

At least these victims have a platform to voice themselves out.

Some of them are talking about decades ago committed crimes, they need to be heard.

As far as the conviction is concerned, even if the culprits are not convicted, people might know about them.

So many women accused Sajid khan. The next time an actress is going to work with her, at least she can her precautions.

I doubt that these abusers will dare to repeat their crimes, given they have been accused of it before or they have pending court cases.

Plus people like sanjay dutt and Shiney ahuja have been convicted. Let's hope for a better judiciary system.

That's my concern too. Everyday a new story.

From a legal standpoint: It is "Innocent until proven guilty". Therefore, the onus is on the victim to prove.

All anonymous accounts won't go anywhere. Unless an actual complaint is filed and investigation done (and proven guilty), the accused is going scot free. Even in such horrific cases of abuse like Alok Nath, there are no "evidences" from that night. Pics, Vids Clips, DNA. that too from '93?? 😕

The accused will all "check out" for a period of time only to resume their public lives after the wave has died down. And the cycle repeats... likely with caution. 👏

So I think most of the anonymous victims will simply get some satisfaction on NAMING & SHAMING in public. That's it. And we all know how good the public memory is. 🥱

No one is going to jail until proven. Each person accused has come out with a PR statement claiming innocence or sent a legal notice. Only expect lawyers, media people and social media fans to be busy for a few weeks. 😉

Any systemic improvement WILL TAKE a LONG time!

The Government is forming a committee and even Ekta, Kiran Rao formed a committee to hear these cases one-by-one. They obviously won't entertain verbal ones but those with proof and depending on the seriousness of the crime and evidence, the offenders might just be warned or left. I doubt anyone would even go to jail except for the rape cases but the Alok Nath case is too old and I doubt if he would be punished. Just hope that atleast the proven offenders would be boycotted. That's the least they can do.

yes not sure about those anonymous allegations but people posting their stories should at least check some facts about the person before sharing. Can understand why some of them want to tell their story but are scared because of family or society
