They say, ' A change in the weather is sufficient to recreate ourselves & the world'. IB has managed to create just that in this week. A storm came n went by n all we were left with is the aftermath n the leap of 5 years!

What's more interesting is once again it's a season of many firsts with finally the writers giving us the conflict of Obros. A much needed & a hukumm ka ikka for the plot! Finally, finally we have Shivika vs Obros n I think we couldn't have asked for more!

What will you do if someone out there is all set to put fire to the people you loved the most? Will you be quiet, sit on the side n do nothing as the flames go by? Even worse when the culprit is from the family? So after the warning from Shivaay to flee the country, Tej takes it lightly n instead ups his game wanting all the shares of the company now! The elder brother can't let that happen coz that share belongs to his brothers too.

So to yet again protect his brothers from their evil father, raaton raat Shivaay has all the shares to himself! Tej last resort gone, he is up to no good n finally threatens what SSO loves most, family! I m so glad that this time it wasn't Anika. In any case though she is the one who has suffered the most!

Om- Ru on gunpoint, Shivaay takes the gun to himself n conflicted in the rage of how cud a man kill his own sons n self defense he shoots Tej. Mind you the gun was bought by Tej himself n all the jargon to his sons against Shivaay fit like perfect hand in glove. Still the brothers ask him to speak the truth while their father lay dead in their hands.

Parantu kyunki har yug mein Ram ko sacrifice karna hi padta hai apno ki ladai mein Shivaay chooses to sush Khanna n himself hiding the truth from his brothers in the lieu of protecting them from the worst truth of their lives! So blinded by the truth, thinking that iys time to protect their own family, they send their Shivaay to jail! Anika pleads for mercy for Shivaay understanding the moment between Khanna n his boss. But it's not given looking at the gravity of the crime.

A heartbreaking scene follows as Shivaay is taken away from her while she cries for her life. Makes me remember the scene, " goli aapko lage ya mujhe, chot to mujhe hi lagti na". So initially when I saw this whole act of SSO killing his bade Papa for his loved ones I was raged like any other vieewer that once again he did not think of Anika! But slowly as the plot seeps in you realise she was never different from him. He didn't knew this would happen the next day. He is heartbroken too as she runs for him n thus looks away not taking the pain any longer.

Now lets take a moment here to appreciate the fact that it's extremely difficult to jump into leaps. Also because other shows have been pro at it but for our show this has been something very new but have to say they nailed it adding their own nuances to their respective characters. With of course NM leading from the front! Such a melodramatic n trpish script but all the actors excluding dadi have done wonders. So kudos to the team for making a great shift in our heads of the leap. 👏

Leap ke baad Shivaay feels he has no home to go to. He knows that once he goes home, wounds would freshen up n will bleed more as he comes face to face with his family. Hence he chooses God's home for shelter. Sitting in silence, kind of crucified his life for his loved ones coz that is all what he loved for. But sometimes we forget that the crucifix does not signify defeat or failure. It reveals to us the love that overcomes evil n sin.

There has to be someone who tells him that n thus God send his guardian angel to be by his side to guide him from the dark to the light. She hugs him tight wanting to take away all the pain of his life, while he still stares at the silence with all his might. Away from home, understanding his silence she guides him to take the journey back home since that is the right thing to do. Everyone needs him back home. He then lights the candle with a flickering hope while she smiles seeing him take the baby steps towards life.

But only life cud be so easy, SSO has a miles to go before everything returns to normal n thus come the reporters wanting to know how has he spend his years in jail all this while. Wanting to Garner as much trp for their channels on the name of SSO. But that SSO seems to have been lost as he stands their numb with no reaction. Anika prods him to shut them all up but when he denies she takes a stand for him shutting them all up in one instance! Uff! IB ka reporters se peecha jaane kab chutega 😆

At home, Dadi is trying to light the Diya for Om n Ru success but miserably fails to do so until the ram n sita of the story put their auspicious feet in the OM. The ram n sita music was absolutely liit here! Sorry guys m a big trp aunty in such kind of things.😆

Shivaay is in awe as he steps from dark to the light ( read jail to the OM) clearing the clouds of darkness hovering around the house but the brothers who have lost their father roar louder under the same sky n divide the house oscillating the sentiment, " jab dilon mein daraar a Jaye to Ghar mein lakeer khichni padti hai."

All the obahus try to stop Om n Ru with Anika pleading the loudest but the brothers seemed to have the mind if their own thus do the needful. Divided they do the Pooja in separate mandirs with Om n Ru asking for the success of the deal. While Shivika look upon, asking for the home's togetherness n happiness.

Back in their room which has gone back to blue ( & I cudnt be happier for that🥳) Anika tries to balance things with her chitter chatter. Telling him how she survived all these years. With his things, learning wardrobe management, doing things that he liked to do. Pointing out correctly that she did sleep well all these years owing to the dream catcher that he had gifted her as she used to love meeting him in his dreams. Awww Shivaay looks on still numb as he is unable to fit as Shivaay in the current situation. Hence, no suits for him n sleeps on just the floor. Leaving Anika more determined to bring her SSO back to life, as she rests beside him.

So that's a wrap of our weekend CHRONICLEs with the last word if NM has adapted this leap with great body language then so has SC hels Anika with so much strength. Both splitting their yin n yang energy in just the right way. Kudos to both SC n NM to take on this role with so much courage. Therefore, friends we got to hold on to these two until the dark clouds turn into the beautiful hues of sunset sky.😳
