Yamini cooked up some story that they will be saved from Naagin by doing so and he picked it

Season 1 was not a drag and mu was for less duration

What Nandini said. Yamini convinced him to pick it up for their family's betterment and etc so he did and handed it over to her. Later Shivanya found out Anky's plan to sell the naagmani and confronted Ritik about it and they had an argument. It happened during the mayuri track
