Nobody would check the msg during such intimate moment but I think her hope or expectation tht someone frm her family will communicate with her was the rsn why she checked the msg during the romantic moment . Because b4 tht scene she was talking about loosing her family nd how she doesnt want adi to experience the same nd she had no time to talk to ammi or noor in jail so tht hope wouldhav made her to check the msg. Other than this i dnt find any possible rsn !!

Thank u for dis post. Even i used to think Zoya fans r over reacting wn ppl criticize Zoya, but off late i realised Zoya/Jen r bashed for d slighest of the things. Ppl r actually behaving like Anjana. Itz gud dt dy love Adi n r blinded by dt love, but i think dy can think logically after few hours of airing of d show. Sometimes i get angry at Zoya, dn a day or two passes n dn with the things dt hv hpd, u do understand her pov. Zoya needs a little patience to be understood. Other SM platforms r worst is d lamest excuse. We are here, so dt is what shud matter. Thank goodness Adi unlike his fans understands Zoya n even Harshad comes accross matured compared to his fans.

I agree to that. Yes Zoya has been bashed n I am certainly one among them who bashed her during paak track (everyone knows why) n during Arshad track not bcoz she got mad at Adi but saying yes to Arshad was giving the poor guy she knew had feelings for her wrong signals n which eventually broke his heart. But Zoya as a character has shown immense growth which has to be applauded n she has come a long way. Zoya is pure at heart n she always sees the best in everyone even at their worst. Which is not something everyone is capable of doing as they r clouded by their prejudice. It may come across as bordering on stupidity at times when she trusted someone like Mahi but it can't be denied that comes out of the goodness of her heart. Even now she stood strong by Aditya n even if she doubts Adi in the future it will be circumstantial n not because she couldn't see through things. Zoya for one is not a person who loses faith at the drop of a hat. When she believes in someone it is for a lifetime unless something drastic happens that breaks it forever. Even though Yash cheated on her she found it in her to forgive him which not many r capable of.
