I don't think so.
First of all, let me be clear, I love jenshad as actors but they r not the only ones I love. There have been some other pairs too who I thought very equally brilliant according to me. So I guess if there were other actors playing AdiYa, I would have still expected more in that near kiss.
N for me, in that specific scene at least, what lacked was the story. Like just before a while Zoya was so angry on Adi n now she suddenly realised her love for him n she was also ready for his romantic advances. Don't get me wrong, I know bepannaah is not like other shows where a kiss is very dragged n all. If the Arshad track had not happened, I would have loved that kiss. As in, they were not even on talking terms for last two weeks, they were fighting on every given instance n now this, I m not able to feel Zoya's realisation yet. She was the same even when she considered Adi her best friend only, I can't see how she is seeing him as her lover differently, this transition was too fast for me without any dialogues from Zoya's side. Had their friendship been intact, the romantic gestures right after realisation of love would have looked fine but at the end of Arshad track, I was not even able to see them as best friends until the channa mereya scene. So I m not able to like the romantic scenes between them yet. As a few days pass n their love story progresses, I'll like the scenes n then they'll be definitely intense n hot as I expect from jenshad.

In my opinion it was the most beautiful scene potraying the sexual tension between a couple. We could see the raw emotions steaming out of their eyes. Look at Adi and Zoya's reaction closely its crystal clear they were expressing subtle feelings.
But that's just my opinion.
Its mainly how the raw energy that was erupting out of Adi that's making so much stomach flipping for me. ☺️
As with Jenny playing Zoya .. she performed what her character was required to be displayed. She was splendid there.
Lastly how can we forget all that Zoya went through that entire day but still she was drawn to him melting to his desires.

I agree...there is some kind of disconnect between her acceptance and the post-house removal scenes. I feel like the CVs pieced things together seperately but it's not coming together for me as well.

I'm not really sure where CV's are going with everything but I have this tiny seed of doubt that Adiya is going to be seperated and it'll result in some sort of memory loss or something and all these scenes are going to come back in a flashback

I dont get this frustration over intimacy...they just confessed their love to their respective family last week only...they just became a couple...and for the first attempt the near kiss scene was apt with hesitation and trying...i mean they have just started romancing each other...they tried to kiss each other...that's it...it is fine if they are taking it slow...in fact with all the baggage's of their past and problems presently haunting them they will definitely take time to be that intimate...but they will...first of all let them get married at least...

Separation track will come later not anytime soon and there won't be any memory loss.

I donno y such a fuss is being made over a kiss 😆 it was ok I guess n it looked natural to me. Adi had realised his feelings towards Zoya a long time ago whereas Zoya lived in denial for a long time before she finally accepted she loves Adi. It's new for her n I can understand y she was a little hesitant when Adi approached her but she didn't want to pull back n she sorta gave in. In the past we saw intensity coz the scenario demanded that n now they r in a different phase n given how their love story shaped I guess it's fine. Had it taken a different route maybe things would have taken a different turn. It would have been more passionate but given the circumstances what is being shown is certainly not out of place.

I completely agree with you. Zoya realization was too hurried and not as sweet as Aditya's. With Aditya you saw a slow progression from wonder and amazement in the change in zoya after the leap to attraction, to immense care for her to his jealousy and eventually his extreme protectiveness and eventually confusion about his real feeling and finally seeing pooja and letting go of his past and looking into future with zoya- it was all so beautifully depicted. But with zoya there was nothing till it was qubool hai time and bam she realized what she was doing. Ya they showed how zoya used to get lost in Aditya when he came to convince her to not marry arshad but that was it. They didn't show any internal struggle or her thoughts about Aditya much at all. That was disappointing!

Completely agree with you - your words are my feelings. As much as I wanted Adiya romance and I get why some people on this forum might see this as fans complaining - there is no validation of Zoya's feelings.

Adi's reveal happened over weeks and suddenly Zoya is smiling at Adi lovey dovey and making promises of a life time. Where is the admission? On top of that they add this celeb crap to make it even more fake. I never wanted Adiya marriage like this, I either wanted a rebellious marriage or a proper marriage with all the customs and the happy/funny moments.

As for chemistry - some people can accept instalove story because they want Adiya really badly and that's what matters most to them. That is indeed not wrong as chemistry is subjective as hell. For me, chemistry cannot trump story - if you mess up story, no couple not even Jenshad can show chemistry. See ratings have gone up so Colors did the job they needed but not everyone will be happy with that decision - I cannot fault them because BARC is what keeps the show going.

This is very very true. I loved Aditya's realization track because it was handled so damn well. His internal struggle, confusion over his changed feelings for her, coming to terms with his feelings, finally realizing and admitting to himself, acknowledging the difficulties if he decides to go ahead, letting go of his past, and finally looking at a happy future with Zoya. It was like we felt his each and every emotion as he went through this journey. In Zoya's case that didn't happen as there were hardly any moments in which we were given a peak into her internal thoughts. Most times we were left to assume, or trust Aditya's assessment of her feelings. It never really came from her and finally when it did come from her, it was in the very last moment of a terribly dragged track. After the vows she took during the wedding, I can sense that she loves Aditya a lot and I feel her love for him, but only and only because of the difference in the the ways in which both the realization tracks were handled, Zoya's feelings seem a little bland in front of Aditya's.
