Exactly! Most of the movie he'll be playing this fun character but he'll get serious like we see him riding that horse, of course he's charging towards the British and not bigb camp

But that's not what they showed. They clearly implied it's bigb and that British John guy needs someone to capture him and bring bigb down thus comes firangi aamir. Who first enters and gains bigb's trust only to betray him but that's what they would like us to believe

Eh you're right. Otherwise it doesnt make sense to show the whole story in the teaser that Aamir is sent to infiltrate AB's gang and then he has a change of heart-becomes woke.

Thugs were after all guerilla gangs fighting the British thievery and plunder of the country. So it makes sense that Azad would be the name of a man who could get all the info secretly and move about amongst their ranks pretending to be one of them and then later stage attacks.
