Hey everyone

I'm here mainly because of Shaheer and for the Indian History, these two are my favorite. I have seen Shaheer in various shows so was excited for him to play Salim as well. I'm damn sure he will nail it.

Other than that I loved when I saw Gurdeep as Jodha Bai because she is phenomenal actress and she slayed it from scene 1 from her strong screen presence.

Shaifu's mother played by a well known actress as well and she nailed it as well.

I gotta say that child artists who plays Salim and Shaifu have done a great job as well.

Akbar looked aged but the actor is experienced and has done a great job.

Akbar names Shaifu as Anarkali and I loved how the story is FAST paced without any filler scenes.

I didn't like Salim's brothers nor their portrayal but kids have done good job.

The first episode was beautifully shot and well written with good locations and cinematography.

That tiger was funny and weird. Anyway it can be ignored.

The one of the Nau Ratan played by the actor is also good looking, and I have seen him in various shows. He will slay the role in positive role.

All in all I liked it so I give it 9.5/10. I'm deducting 0.5 for that funny tiger only. Because rest all was up to the mark.

I'm excited for the chemistry between Shaheer and Sonarika now. Also excited for the scenes between Salim-Anarkali-Akbar-Jodha. I have read and seen many things about them. It will be interesting to see how they will show it with crispy dialogues.

Precap was dramatic with Ruquayya and Maham Anga entry I suppose. Well let's see what happens next.

I really loved the first episode. In a way, I did like that tiger scene. It reminded me of the movie The Lion King where Mufasa shields Simbha in the elephant graveyard. Somehow that scene was kind of reflective of that.

The cast is very experienced and has that power and skill to bring this amazing story to life. So far their voice modulation is really good.

I liked the fast pace as well as the way they introduced the characters. It was refreshing.

Hoping that the makers will keep this pace and hold the story together for the length of the series.

The first episode was way better than what i expected. All the cast are well chosen. They all are good actors so the show is at least not going to be bland. 😆

Best was Salim's mother Jodha portrayed by Gurdeep. She killed her role!

Shifu was so pretty. And she acts well too. The boy playing Salim is good too. They have a good chemistry 😲 I hope Shaheer and Sonarika have it too. 😆

You are right about the brothers. Are they step brothers or what. but as far as I know Salim was the only son of Akbar. 😕 I maybe incorrect. 😆 those two were shown so evil. I mean which kids are such vamps in that tender age? 🥱

I do not even want to watch Ruqaiya. Can not we just leave her out of the picture. 😡 and I guess the other women is Akbar's mother and not Mahamanga. I do not want another vamp in this show.

The episode was nice and I am going to give this a try. At first i looked forward to it for only Shaheer but it looks like an amazing journey. So I am on board until the show goes crazy and starts showing anything and everything.

All said & done..Would like to add few points..

Extra brownie points to the detailing of the characters..Anarkali recognises every fragrance, when asked to chose among the best fragrances in the world, she chose the 'Fragrance of Earth'..Elegant & Classy 😳

Salim - A prince who follows heart, but on motivated by his Father, ready to fight his fears like a warrior, he even faced those looteras to save anarkali, how adorable..⭐️

Akbar was wise & powerful, so he was the one who named her 'Anarkali'..Jodha looked stunning..Anarkali's mom was on point..Rest of the cast were very much convincing in their respective roles..😊

A special mention to Dialogue Writing..!!

The show is good .all actors have done good job . gurdeep isamazing as jodha .shahbaaz was good as akbar .child actors were good.i am watching this show for sonarika was impressed by her acting as mrinal .she looks completely different as anarkali be it body language or her smile as anarkali in contrast to fiery mrinal .

stopped watching midway prithvi vallabh because of boring narative .

hope this was not the case with this show

As per history Akbar had 3 son Salim was the eldest and royal blood from both sides the other two were Murad and Daniyal were younger then Salim but their mother's were nor Royal Akbar also had three daughters but don't know if they will mention the Akbar's daughters

Ruqaiya and Salima as per history are important not sure they are positive or negative in the show

Yes the mother they showed was not Maha Anga as she died much before Salim's birth that was Akbar real mother Mariam Makhani Hamida Begum

Well, history does say that Salim and his step brothers were always at daggers drawn so I thought showing the kids as being inimical to Salim was a good touch, altho I agree kids of that age might not be so bloodthirsty as to try to get someone killed. The later making fun of Salim scenes were more relatable.

I am also in this only to watch Shaheer so just waiting to see him arrive.
