I think Abhishek is going to come out as the silent winner in this one and will steal the show right from under the noses of Vicky and Tapsee! I still remember how adorable he was in his 10mnt role of Hum Tum and here he is playing a similar role as Hum Tum with more screen time!

Well, no one really expects Anurag Kashyap movies to become Hits, but this year has been of content films. Also this seems to be the most commercial film of Kashyap. Trailer was entertaining, and reviews are also good. I hope it atleast gets an average tag for Vicky and Tapsee.

But the reason of movie getting UA certificate, so it'll effect it's box office is ridiculous. Some of the biggest blockbusters like TZH, PK, Sanju have got UA certificate.

I watched the trailer only now. Think this might go the Dev D way. Taapse and Vicky look like a bunch on skanks full of STDs but that kind of thing will sell.

And like many others here. wow I'm surprised by Abhishek. He really stands out in the trailer. Always found his presence bland but good for the folks who always stood by him. Never say never I guess.

Manmarziyan Falters On Monday - Mitron And Love Sonia Almost Out

Manmarziyan faltered on Monday as it collected in the 1.90-2 crore nett range. The drop is 40% from the first day and that is too much for a film which opened with such low numbers. The film will no do well but is a little better than the other two ventures of the director this year. The web series Sacred Games was a disaster while Mukkabaaz was not better as it collected a little 10 crore nett at the box office..

The director has an awful record with bad films galore but has still somehow managed to get 15 films as director even though none have gone beyond the 30 crore nett mark. In fact if Manmarziyan makes 25 crore nett it will be the second one to go over 25 crore nett.

The small town bug seems to have been hit with Manmarziyan but if the characterization is still urban how will that relate with the audience as these characters dont belong to a small city be it Amritsar or Aurangabad. The film would have probably failed even if these chracters were set in Mumbai but at least then the film is a more truer to the audience. Its looking a 20.50-21 crore nett first week for the film and it remains to be seen how much it will drop on the second Friday.

The first weekend busines of Manmarziyan is as follows

Friday - 3,25,00,000 apprx

Saturday - 4,75,00,000 apprx

Sunday - 5,75,00,000 apprx

Monday - 2,00,00,000 apprx

TOTAL - 15,75,00,000 apprx
