Until episode ended it looked fine.

But the precap made it look

like a deer caught in the headlights.

If it ain't getting a romantic fix its going to look

He is not doing it out of love but for the welfare of Zoya. He can go to any low now so that she doesn't sacrifice herself. There is a difference here. Maya was selfish and Aditya is not.
