There is this Novel 'Tell me your dreams' by sidney sheldon.

In that we see two girls badmouthing a third girl(Ashley).

She used to live with her father.

Her mother had died when she was a kid.

The two girls murder their respective Boyfriends.

The blame falls on 3rd girl(Ashley)

This girl's father hires a lawyer.

The lawyer was quite indebted to her father.

He finds evidences which says Ashley murdered all

men(many during her teens )

Now he proves that the 3 girls are the same person.

Ashley had 3 personalities inside her.

She herself used to badmouth herself.

Then she is shifted to mental rehab centre.

There she learns about two girls that she becomes.

Ashley's father was about to remarry a woman.

This woman had a small girl.

One day Ashley sees her father playing with little girl.

She runs to save the girl.

Then faints.

Ashley was always raped by her father in her childhood.

She developed multiple personality disorder due to trauma.

Now can we justify the murders Ashley did.

Those people who she murdered were normal men.

The moment they would try to get intimate with her,she used to Castrate them,leading to death.

I just wanted to say trauma makes people insane and sometimes criminal.

I was thinking may be Nandini has some personality disorder.

I really think Kunal led Nandini into all this.

I remember how Nandini used to come running home after giving that call girl money and after earning money in the mAll.

I know i had bashed her for this.

Now when i think about it,i feel Nandini was already Suffering personality disorder.

p.s just a thought

MPD.. Multiple personality disorder. agreed a severe trauma can lead to such conditions (not that i am in medical profession or an expert).. but in TMYD .. Ashley had no collection whatsoever of what she or rather her personalities did. infact she had no idea that there exists such personalities.

She didn't know her ownself. and she was horrified when she met herself.

if we want to say Nandini could be suffering from such disorder.. well no! she was in her sane elements when she made her choices.

She remembers her actions.

and she doesn't regret those choices and actions. she still thinks she just 'loved' not committed a sin.

that's not being a victim... that's either being delusional or utterly selfish.

p.s. thank you for reminding me of that book. my favourite author. i will pick 'if tomorrow comes' as his best though. trauma/abuse/injustice makes the girl embrace her dark side and turn her into absolute bad ass. (never loses her humanity though)
