SOTW5: Raj's Dilemma Carried on frm SOTW4

Hey Guys,

Continuing Situation of the Week #4

as promised we Would have it from Guy's POV.

(Sadly members there is no love triangle here, that is to come..😉maybeee😆)

Raj loves Jia very Much, and could do anything to get her. 😳

Even knowing there is many problems to their relationship, he still puts 100% effort into it, even though maybe there is more chance of them not being together than being together

After reading SOTW 4, is it better that Raj confront Jia's parents along with her asking for her hand or does he try and get Jia to do what she wants and stand her grounds on what he wants knowig that maybe if she loose her parents - She will have no one else in the world for her aprt from him and his family. 😳

What Advice would you give to Raj on how to handle this sensitive situation?
Does he ask for Jia's hand, and if her parents diasgree- does Raj walk away with dignity or does he fight for Jia- after all she wants him and cant live without him.
Or does he gain her by making her becoe independen from her family?

the advise i'd give raj, is to go and ask Jia's hand in marriage, but the thing here i want to say is that people in deep luv need to realize that you tend to romanticize about luv and marriage, and marriage is never the same as dating someone, all of assuden the things that were sooo cute get really annoying.😕 the daily life of marriage makes you loose alot of that magic that brought you together. so really you need to know yourself first before you go committing to another person. marriage is entirly a whole new game with a whole new set of issues...that being said, if raj is still wants to propose by all means, but if her parents are dead set against it, well then i think he should gracefully backout..

Making jia Independent from her family will only make her more dependent on raj and thats not a healthy relationship... and parents are always needed in ones lives doesnt matter how old you get.. raj and jia need to see the bigger picture of life, for when your dating its all about just the 2 of them, but once your married its about grand parents, its about needing someone to sometimes connect with that isnt your spouse..., its about kids needing to know about there roots...

okay kuch zayadah hogay...i just think that parents deserve a certain amount of respect and that parents arent all evil.....hell we give up our careers, time, effort to raise kids. just hope kids realize how hard it is being a parent..

No i am sure i will not. Advice not for me, is a 'fake' situation. Dump him? You mean her if you read the situation as it is about what the guy should do.

yes dump him because if she has to give up her family for him then i'd advice her to dump him 'cuz hes not worth more than family.
