Shradha has had bigger hits than Alia, obviously she wasnt the pivotal character in any of them😆

parineeti would kil it in a highway..

alia wasn't even that good..overrated in her 2nd film.

I'm pretty sure parineeti will overshadow alia with her Bihari accent too in her next film..jabariya Jodi.

alias films outshines parineeti..but talent is talent.

but no the film opportuntiies are not the same. parineeti has good films...but she isn't getting work on the same caliber as alia.

parineeti biggest film is kesari where she has a small role...but alia has kalank and takht with meaty roles

I don't think anyone got my main point

All I'm saying is Shraddha doesnt need to put in so much effort and her movies do well

Whereas Alia - the whole thing needs to be orchestrated and manufactered properly lol

All actors need to put effort and work hard to get liked by the audience. It's not like Shraddha has to do nothing in her movies and she's just popular for being beautiful. Yami is also very beautiful, why isn't she popular among the male audience?

Beauty isn't the only thing that the audience cares about, an actor needs to have charisma and screen presence, and Shraddha has that talent which makes her popular.

Aamir works hard and does lots of preparation for every role in his movies, while Bhai just plays himself, and does some action in his films. But the end result is both of their films become Blockbusters. Is it an insult to Aamir that Salman puts less effort than him. No, Aamir needs to be applauded for the hard work he does. He has a goodwill among the audience. He is respected as well as loved by the audience. While Salman is only loved(and also hated) by the audience.

Shraddha and Alia also have a similar scenario. Shraddha is loved by the audience, but she isn't necessarily respected. Tharki audience sees her as a sex object. While Alia is loved, as well as respected for her acting skills by the audience. Yes, she's also hated but that's because of the nepotism thing. If she had achieved everything without Kjo, there wouldn't have been any hate for her.

Also the actors who depend on their looks don't have a stable career, because looks fade away because of age, while acting skills get better with age if you keep polishing them.

Shraddha will fizzle out soon, but Alia, if she keeps on growing as an actress, is a lambi race ki ghodi, because she's not dependent on her looks like all other actresses.

Alia's role in Takht shd not be much if its historically accurate, Dara Shukoh's wife is hardly mentioned in historical accounts or history books, main characters in the drama are Dara, Aurangzeb, Jahanara and Shah Jahan.

But probably KJo will desperately try to inject extra unnecessary scenes of Dara and his wife just to give Alia more screentime 😆

Competition is never an insult and should never be taken that way.

That being said, I doubt Alia or her dad KJo will take to it kindly.

alia and Shraddha are more competition with e/o in terms of stardom and popularity. that's it. not acting skills. I'm not saying Shraddha is not talented..if she is able to bring in an audience to watch her she is..but in a different way.

alia already has competition regarding actresses who may not be as famous but they act miles better than her. But she seems less worried about them as alia is a popular mainstream actress who has good acting skills-done a variety of commercial and films with critical acclaim. and that's why she is so successful.

But that is not enough to make you a huge star. if you ask me..in terms of performance alia acts better than deepika. but deepika's roles have been iconic, she is beautiful, and she has screen presence out of this world and most importantly a connect. That is why she is a "superstar"

its not all cookie cutter...having your career carved and planned and being publicized the way alia has does not make you a star. the proof of this is Shraddha being the weaker actresses but she is able to attract the masses!

I personally think Shraddha would shine in historical movies. She just has the look and the whole subdue acting is totally her thing!
