say like aashiqui 2 had superior music..and the film did really well. also ek villain. Half girlfriend was absolutely horrible imo...and it did decent. it also had some amazing music

Music rights bring money. More YT hits of music videos bring money. But hit music doesn't necessarily translate to Box Office success

It might attract few audiences here and there but can't make a movie a hit if the movie sucks/people don't like it.

If music alone could make a movie a hit then Kala Chasma should have made Baar Baar Dekho a hit yet it flopped. That song was so popular and was literally everywhere (as well as having Kat dance in it) yet the film still bombed.

If you like a song from a movie then just download it and listen to it as much as you like you don't have to watch the movie it belongs to. People aren't idiots lol
