Did Shweta Bachchan Nanda's closeness to Karishma Kapoor at MxS launch

'Avoid bumping into your ex or his/her
relatives' is one party rule that the entire film
industry swears by. People do this not just
to avoid awkward encounters but also to
prevent garnering unneccessary media
attention.
Karishma Kapoor, who was once on the
verge of becoming a Bachchan bahu, broke
the unwritten rule by attending the launch
party of her ex's sister Shweta Bachchan
Nanda's brand store MxS.
This was perhaps the first time when all
three - Abhishek Bachchan, Karishma
Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan came
under the same roof since the split.
Karishma and Abhishek were set to get
married many years ago, but called off their
engagement in 2002 for reasons best
known to them. Since then the families
generally maintain a certain distance.
Hence, it was more than surprising when
Shweta invited Karishma for the party. And,
the fact that Karishma actually turned up at
the event, raised several eyebrows. What's
more? Not just did Karishma lend support to
Shweta by coming for the store launch but
also later posted a picture with her on
Instagram stories, lauding her latest
collection.
As per a report in Filmibeat, Abhishek was
seen 'avoiding' Karishma while posing with
wife Aishwarya, which caught a lot of
people's attention. Karishma reportedly
happened to enter the venue, right after
Abhishek and Aishwarya.

Shweta was also reportedly seen spending
more time with Karishma than her sister-in-
law Aishwarya, which again became a hot
topic of discussion at the party.
Shweta and Karishma have come really close
in the past few years. The ladies had also
posed together at Mohit Marwah's February
wedding in UAE. The actress was even
present at Shweta's late father-in-law
Ranjan Nanda's prayer meet, whose wife
Ritu is Karishma's aunt.

I saw the video, something's really off with the family, Shweta and Amitabh Bachchan ignored Aish, she hugged her hubby Nikhil Nanda more as an after-thought. Aish looked really upset with her and at one point it looked like she wanted just leave - but Abhishek somehow convinced her to stay. He also pretty much forced everyone to get together for a photo.

Wow! These guys corner Aish out. Except for AB Jr, I have never seen any of his other three family member interacting "normal" with Aish.

And here is some more tea for y'all. Almost everyone else who attended wore something from Shweta's collection but Ash wore Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla.

Another strange thing I felt was, Navya was closer to Big B than her own father. (In the video of their group photo). I felt he was getting ignored. Only Jaya and Abhi seemed nicer to him.

Shweta always had this sh*tty attitude towards aishwariya. You are a grown woman, be cordial in public atleast

There's a video circulating of Jaya with Shweta at the event where's she's gossiping and laughing showing full nakhra. Bet she was bitching about Aish
