I have very mixed feelings about tonight's episode ! For one the editing was really bad and the screenplay of the episode looked hastily put together, which is why I could not enjoy PiAnsh scene to be honest. The episode started off well with the families deciding on the functions and date of the wedding, Pia getting suspicious of Ruby's behavior with her parents and then Nishan'ts call asking her to stay overnight to keep an eye on Ansh.
The episode was going on well, but then we randomly see Pia getting decked up in formal dress and needing someone to tie up her dori ! Since she stayed overnight, its fine that she wanted Neha's help but where were they exactly in that apartment? Because they certainly don't have a terrace? Even if it was on the rooftop, even then Ansh just suddenly appearing, tying up her dori, kissing her nape, pushing her away and being rude to her? The whole scene needed a buildup, because you don't show such scenes between a couple randomly, just for the sake of romance. The scene was not necessary at this point of the story line, especially without the why's and how? They didn't even show us why she wore those formal clothes because she certainly didn't wear it for the Mehndi function. She was in another dress.
In fact I loved the Mehndi function scene better, it was more real and showed the internal conflict between Ansh's human and and Devansh side. He knew he hurt her and wanted to reach out and wipe the tears in her eyes but at the same time he wants to stay away from her.
Coming to Mohana and GuruMa's scene, I liked how they are moving the supernatural elements of the story ahead. So GuruMa didn't know Pia was a Daivik, and now Mohana knows too ! Ruby will now find out too, and they together will refute GuruMa's statement of Pia being a Daivik.
Another thing I noticed that only when Mohana attacked GuruMa, Pia's picture in the locked warded her off, which means Pia is more of a protector/defender than a huntress. Maybe that's why when Ruby hugged her, she could not sense her being evil, despite her wearing the locket? Or maybe due to her being unaware of her powers they are being suppressed and will come out ful force once she finds out from GuruMa that she is a Daivik. All in all, it was a decent episode story wise, but editing wise it was a lot to be desired.
