People are messy, they are complicated. Especially when in love we do crazy stupid things. If we are messy then our relationship is bound to be complicated.
That's what caught my attention in the entire messed up situation yesterday.
Aditya and Zoya have both played pranks with a clean intention.
Zoya used her khurafati mind and played a prank when she spread news - Aditya's entire family is missing. For whom? Aditya. She wanted Adi back at any cost, without him, she felt an emptiness. She waited pateintly for a few months after that when she couldn't take it, her love for him fooled her mind into doing something stupid that was equivalent to illegal. But she did not care. She only realized the gravity of the situation when she was standing in handcuffs infront of Anjana. Even then she came clean and told her that she only did it with the intention of getting Adi back.
When Zoya did this prank she thought about it through Adi's mind. Something Adi would do. We saw shades of Adi in her that day.
Aditya used his khurafati mind to make a prank call so he could separate Arshad from Zoya for few hours. He too did it with clean intention. His only intention was to find some alone time with Zoya so he could pour his heart out to her. Stupid? Yes, but again his mind wasn't working, it had lost the ability to think at that point in the party.
When Adi decided to come clean about his prank, he thought through Zoya's mind. It's something Zoya would want Adi to do because jo galat hai woh galat hai. We saw shades of Zoya in him.
Some day, I am sure or I hope so when Zoya realizes her deep feelings for Adi, she will go back to the day of her prank and re-think why she actually did it and how she felt. Then she may realize Adi's intention behind this prank. Because at this moment I dont think the prank itself will be a problem since it was a tiny one but Zoya's trust in Adi will be shaken.
Now about Zoya's slap. Yes it's not something we were expecting out of Zoya because its Adi who does these impulsive things. But no one has a single personality. We are messy.
Love makes us do things we do not expect. It is fairy tale belief that love can only do good. No, sometimes love brings out the worst in each other. Aditya since past week has been doing things which is not expected out of him. Zoya did something which no one was expecting at the party. Only difference is that Zoya does not know she is doing it out of love, she thinks it's her friendship which has caused this sudden rage inside her.
PS- I think Arshad would have spoken to Adi in private if that glass incident didn't happen! But he too couldn't control his rage.
