What is the ultimate aim of everybody? To put it in a very simple sentence the ultimate aim of any person is to be happy. Different people get happiness in different things. What gives happiness to me may not give happiness to you. But everybody seeks happiness.
Some may object to what I have written above. They may cite some examples in which somebody sacrificed his happiness. But, we must note that he sacrificed one happiness for a bigger happiness. For example, parents often make sacrifices for their children. They do so because their children are more important to them than what they sacrificed.
The culture in CG is so good that it makes people living there really happy. So, why would not have attachment with CG?
Consider a person, who is the only bread winner of his family. His family members live happily. They care for each other. If they have problems, they share their problems and support each other. Such a person will be really happy. He will be tension free even if his income is just sufficient to run his family.
Consider another person who earns huge amount. But there are always quarrels in his family. Everybody demands something. The demands never get satisfied. Such a person will always be in tension even if, for the sake of society, he may pretend to be happy.
Now, extend this family concept to whole mohalla. Think of CG as a happy family. It becomes quite clear why those living there do not want to leave this mohalla.
I am not implying that one should not look for better opportunities. Of course, one should. But it often happens that people keep on trying to be happy tomorrow by sacrificing today's happiness. And that tomorrow never comes. They think that if they get this, then they will be happy. If they get that, then still they are not happy because they want something else now. In the process, they miss many opportunities to enjoy life. They miss "small" enjoyments to search for some "big" enjoyment, which is illusory. When they grow old, then they realize that they wasted most of their life but now it is too late.
